Sonic Rainboom teams up with the vocal talents of Francis Vace to deliver a powerful piece of music about the deep inner feelings of Trixie. In fact, in the description of the track SR goes into quite deep detail about his feelings behind Trixie’s behaviour. The way the main part of the song comes in is just raw power, and this track is one of SR’s best in my opinion.

Quicksilver – Problems (Fluttershy Has a Chainsaw) | Punk Rock
Quicksilver has definitely become one of my favourite non-electronic artists in the fandom, and even in a relatively short track such as this one he shows why with some really energetic vocals, and an instrumental to match. I’m not the biggest fan of the subject matter, but can definitely still groove along to this one regardless.
Sights Unseen – Awakening | Orchestral Synthpop
In something of a stylistic shift for Sights Unseen, we’re presented with something a bit different from his usual style. With an ambient introduction building into an orchestral soundscape, the first few minutes of this track would make a solid piece by themselves, however 2 and a half minutes in it pounds out some beautiful synth melodies, and continues in much the same style throughout, shifting between orchestral and synth-driven movements.
Lycan Dese Beats – Season 2 Episode 20

As LDB brings you the latest and greatest songs of the fandom, we have “Pony Bands” in our theme this week including The Shake Ups in Ponyville, AcoustiMandoBrony, and The Wonderbolts. In the new music part of the show, we spotlight some drum and bass with Protocat, an interesting song about socks with the Luna Ticks and a Tubby Wubby Pony Waifu cover by Crusader!

J25K – Silent Ponyville | Dark Ambient Electronic
A track full of spooky sound design, brought to us by relatively new pony musician J25K, Silent Ponyville feels like just the kind of track to be posting late at night. It’s clear that the artist wanted to create a track that would leave an uneasy air, and a majority of the sound design choices certainly lend themselves towards this goal.
Alexey Kotlyar – Welcome Solitude | Orchestral
I haven’t heard a whole lot of music from this artist, but the progression of this track is really quite pretty, and whilst some parts feel a bit raw, that somewhat adds to the emotion of the piece. There are parts where I feel like I can hear the weight of the piano keys, and along with the emotive strings, it makes for a touching end to the evening.
Little Jester – Walk | Chill
Following on with the relaxing vibes, Little Jester brings us a playful little chill track about Twilight that walks along beautifully, pulling us in its wake. Just the thing to follow along with during an afternoon break, or something similar.
Vylet Pony – 朝の茶 Morning Tea | Future/Chill
Following on from Super Pony World (which we will have some sort of review post up for eventually, we had planned a comprehensive guest review, but that appears to have fallen through somewhat), Vylet continues to bring some beautiful chill vibes, with this delightfully peaceful track punctuated by some of the breath-taking future chords we’ve come to know from him recently.
UndreamedPanic – Crystal Empire | Bass House
A follow up to one of the best bass house tracks in the fandom (not many takers there so far!), Dark Crystals, Panic brings us Crystal Empire. Does this live up to the previous track? Absolutely! With some really nice vocal samples building into the track, it then proceeds to knock one’s metaphorical socks off with some clean, heavy bass noises that hit just right.
FruityFusion – Undreamed | Trance
Always one to switch up the style, Fruity has released a new tune for all the fans of trance out there. Arpeggiated chords carry the song forward through atmospheric breakouts and a steady beat.
