Denz Xavier & Stormblaze – The Starlight Glimmer Experience | Parody

Red Dwarf fans, rejoice! Admittedly, I’ve never seen Red Dward so I didn’t get the joke, but still, it’s a deliberately fun little song that may or may not bring trigger memories of cheap amusement parks…

Released just in time for Luna day, 4everfreebrony brings us a new track from his recently published album, Hoping. Featuring some really pretty acoustic guitar work, and 4everfree’s signature strong vocal performance, this is definitely one of my favourite songs from the album. Donn DeVore – Come Bliss With Treezy | Indie Electro Pop

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 10 December 2016.

Back after a bit of a period away from releasing stuff, Donn DeVore returns with a pretty cool track about Treehugger. Starting innocuously enough with a pretty fast drum beat, the vocals that make the track soon come in with some pretty great lyricism too. The combination of indie-style vocals and a fusion of rock and electronic instrumentals behind them makes for the kind of thing I haven’t heard much of recently in the fandom, and it’s well worth taking a listen to!

A new piece from 4everfree’s album Hoping featuring some vocals from FritzyBeat, Sun & Moon is a pretty relaxing piece that brings a pretty mellow tone with it. With a slight country vibe to it, this piece is carried by the wonderful vocals on show, but also features some very nice soft guitar and percussion, as well as some lovely piano-work too. Exiark – We Were (ft. FritzyBeat & CKibe) | Electro-Pop

NB: This was originaly posted on EQD on 7 December 2016.

Originally released as a part of Exiark’s incredible album Let There Be Light late last year, this track featuring vocals from Ckibe as Celestia and FritzyBeat as Discord has finally been released onto YouTube! An awesome combination of strong male and female vocals as well as some wonderful synth design from Exiark makes this a pretty awesome piece, and it goes to show that Exiark can make some pretty cool stuff that doesn’t just focus on bass design.

tomato.tuesdays – -243°F (Luna) | Electro-Pop

A short but cute (and kinda funky) song for Luna from tomato-tuesdays. I’m not exactly sure  what to label this, but it has a similar feel to some tropical house songs, with a slightly downtempo beat with great percussion and some lovely plucked bass sounds. Oh and the name is pretty clever too, read the description on the video if you’re curious what it means.
