New affiliate – Cider Party returns!
Cider Party, the promotional channel for electronic brony music, is back after a few months’ hiatus, now powered by the HMH team! Consequently the channel will now act as a sub-entity of the Horse Music Herald, an advanced affiliate of sorts.
Cider Party
Cider Party was founded by Spikey Wikey, AKA Tacos, in September 2014 as a way to promote electronic songs and artists in the brony music scene. It originally ran, posting multiple songs each week, until September 2015, when Spikey felt he needed to step down from the channel, as ultimately the task of following the entirety of the brony music collective, managing video uploads, and hunting for the best art to use is a far greater commitment than any individual should be expected to so consistently carry out. But while it’s been dormant, we have managed to construct a means of putting the channel back on track for regular uploads of the best electronic music the fandom has to offer, and we hope to do just that. You can find the channel right here.
To kick things off, we’re taking a track from the last Ponies at Dawn album that was never released on YouTube. So sit back and enjoy Morgsch – Let The Sun Rise (Exiark Remix).

Hydra – Honest (Ponytronic Remix) | Breaks
Ponytronic rolls in with this intense trap-y breaks style electro remix of Hydra’s trap tune Honest. Ponytronic’s been releasing a whole tonne of different music over the last few years, and is just now approaching a well-deserved 3k subscribers. This track certainly shows why!
Daniel Ingram – The Spectacle (5OUND Remix) | Drum & Bass
Standing at a whopping 9:17, this is certainly one of the longer remixes I’ve heard of this song (not that I’m one to talk, I once made a 12-minute House track!). Buckle up and get ready for a smooth DnB razzle-dazzling!

Another heavy EDM track from JOSHH, this time it’s a sort of Midtempo / Dubstep remix of the fan-favourite Battle of the Bands from Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks. And it’s HEAVY. Check it out for wobs!

Did someone say longest post title ever? µThunder is back with a new remix, and this has to be my favourite second favourite (sorry, Sinking Ships is bae) track from him ever. Combine that with an great PMV that he put together himself and the end result is quality content from µThunder as per usual!
Daniel Ingram – In Our Town (Cosine Pitchshifterz Remix) | Hardstyle
Starting us up today is a remix of Starlight Glimmer’s song from her entry into the show. This hardstyle re-imagining from Cosine Pitchshifterz is the kind of thing you don’t hear too much of in the fandom – raw aggressive hardstyle, where the kick takes centre stage in the second half of the track especially.
