I never thought it possible to make electro house sound so chill, but Plexitofer does just that in this remix of Ponytronic’s Near Clear Skies (appropriate vibe for the song title, eh?). Nice clean drums and a great lead sound are what stand out in particular from this track for me.
Remix
[P@D] DJT ft. Puffy – Peppermint (Silva Hound Remix) | Future Bass
This was a nice surprise to hear on Amity – not just the fact that Silva Hound got involved with Ponies At Dawn, but released a future bass track for the first time in years. This remix of Peppermint, from the previous P@D album, keeps the uplifting futurey feel of the original, but sits at the more trap-influenced end of the future bass spectrum, with those classic 808 kicks and snares.
Ponytronic – Near Clear Skies (Jalmaan Remix) | UK Hardcore / Hard Dance
An awesome introduction to those musical genres if you’re not familiar with them, this remix of Ponytronic’s Near Clear Skies from Jalmaan delights with uplifting vibes and a masterful progression full of that enthralling rythm, spacey melodies, and vocals that just make you feel good. A very enjoyable experience!
[P@D] ExplodingPonyToast, ThatMusicBrony & LutariFan – Start Again (Morgsch Remix) | House
A new YouTube release of a track displaying much Amity, it is now time for Morgsch’s Remix of the iconic Start Again to grace YouTube servers with its presence. Keeping the soft, chill mood from the original with a prominent sax that lulls the soul, the remix plays out an enjoyable and steady House beat and reawakens the original melodies with much grace and emotion, while showcasing the original vocals in a beautiful way. The sax solo is the icing on the cake, and provides untold soothing power.
Vylet Pony – Little Dreams (Intersekt Remix) | Drum & Bass
Here’s what could well be my favorite remix of the critically acclaimed Little Dreams from music visionary Vylet Pony! It is bringing such a unique musical mood, that seems to blend Drum & Bass with the soft and warm side from the original, and the result is nothing short of emotional. The focus on the vocal chops is especially very appreciated and a delight for me, as it uses to bring much emotion, and Intersekt does it incredibly well in this remix. Truly a feast for the ears and the soul!
Ferexes – Wake Them (NeverLastStanding Remix) | Dubstep / Trance
Remixes are truly a wonderful thing, and with such views on the topic as NeverLastStanding’s, you can be sure that magic is going to happen upon that transformation. Building from the already very special Wake Them from music wizard Ferexes, this remix takes a very unique approach full of uplifting melodies coming back-and-forth and flowing in a wonderful progression, sublimating the godly vocal chops from the original in a mesmerizing torrent of emotion. An amazing remix and a wonderful description from NeverLastStanding!
ƥRYZ РOnce Again (MrMehster Remix) | Drum & Bass / Happy Hardcore
MrMehster graces us with another remix, and it’s a fusion of sorts! It takes Technipony’s debut track under his new alias ∆•RYZ, Once Again, and gives it a unique spin. The structure of the remix is alternating between both genres and merging them in a delightful and masterful way, for a much uplifting and joyful result, fitting for an original track imbued with hopes and dreams of a “new age of musical endeavors”! Infinite support and best wishes to both of the musicians!
MC-Arch – Acceptance (Hay Tea Remix) | Hip-Hop
MC-Arch has got to have the most genuine, heartfelt and meaningful vocals and lyrics that I’ve seen in the community ever since I became a brony, and that sure has moved me when I discovered his channel a while back. I knew it was only a matter of time until he’d get more exposure, and I’m very happy to present you today an actual remix of his song Acceptance (You are Not Alone) from none other than Hay Tea! Paying much tribute to the incredible heart put into MC-Arch’s vocals and what they mean to him, this remix lays out the message of the song with a brand new instrumental, and it is with much delight that we re-discover (or discover for some of you) the original vocals along this fresh Hip-Hop beat of many facets. Share the love, and show your support to the artists!
[P@D] Einarx – Guardian (Q-Sik Remix) | Dubstep
Daniel Ingram – Out On My Own (Foozogz Remix) | Electro
I think I’m definitely not the only one when I say that when a new Foozogz track comes out it’s a moment of much joy and delight, so let’s partake in musical pony bliss once again as the renowned musician’s take on Daniel Ingram‘s Out On My Own from S6 unfolds! Both the episode On Your Marks and Apple Bloom’s song proved to be as emotional and relatable as they were inspiring and calling for passionate musical tributes, and despite Foozogz’s signature cheerful musical vibe contrasting with the emotions at work in Apple Bloom’s heart at that time, it does a wonderful job at sublimating Michelle Creber‘s vocals once again, throughout a bright instrumental of much added emotion and depth.
