Vylet Pony ft. LilyCloud – Fall To The Clouds (Silva Hound Remix) | Progressive House

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 21 October 2016.

Fall To The Clouds is probably still one of Vylet’s most iconic songs, and it’s had its fair share of remixes in the past from artists such as JayB and SMO3S. Here, Silva Hound joins the party with a progressive house remix that feels very Silva in style, especially that synth that comes in around 1:18. The backing vocals provided by MandoPony are a pretty nice touch, and help to add another point of difference to the remix. Definitely worth a listen if you want another remix of this track in your life!

Progressive Element – Undead Ponies (Einarx Remix) | Hybrid Dubstep

An impressive all-time banger, Undead Ponies from Progressive Element continues to inspire and even more so now 28 Pranks Later, and we’re delighted to get Einarx’s much heavy take on it, filled with sick sound design and wicked samples. The thrill is real!

Daniel Ingram – Derby Racers (Foozogz Remix) | Happy Hardcore

There is always something special to Foozogz’s music that you can’t grasp but that adds a certain emotional layer, like a unique “feel”, and this remix of Derpy Racers is no exception. Fast-paced and energetic, it wonderfully blends Foozogz’s signature uplifting mood into the joy conveyed and evoked by Happy Hardcore. Let us partake upon this release while cheering for the derby all over again!

Jastrian & FritzyBeat – Ghostie (MrMehster Remix) | Progressive House

NB: This was originally posted on Equestria Daily on 11 October 2016.

Jastrian and Fritzy’s awesome new track Ghostie feels like it only came out a few days ago, but there’s already a remix of it out! MrMehster’s turned the pop-y original track and turned it into a pretty upbeat prog house track. The main synth in the drop is pretty cool, and the transformation from mellow to a more decidedly happy feel still works here – definitely worth a listen!

[P@D] Progressive Element – Stars and Sky / Flak – Walls (New Patrol Remix) | House

A couple of pretty chill pieces to end the day. First up is a deep house track from Progressive Element; it may be a tad repetitive but if you’re looking to revisit the 90s it’s definitely one to go for!

What’s this? A new challenger has appeared! NewPatrol has been active on SoundCloud for a while now, but here makes his debut on YouTube, in the brony music scene, and on a Ponies At Dawn album. This remix of Flak’s Walls has both the characteristics of modern-day future house and that sort of summery house sound that arose around 2010 (think Edward Maya, Inna, and that sort of stuff). In other words, a solid track!

[P@D] lia;quo – Awakening | Mashup / Complextro

The opening track for Voyager really is something truly special. It combines and samples, in some way or another, every single song from the previous Ponies At Dawn album, Awakening (hence the title). Lia explains the process in the video description, but before you read that, just take a listen to this masterpiece, an ode to P@D!
