Segments of Life have been releasing a lot of pretty cool music recently. All of it seems to be centred around a common theme though – the blending of hardcore rock elements with those of electronic (generally more trance in nature). If you like the other stuff they’ve been releasing recently, you’ll probably enjoy this!

While we wait for more music to flow in, have an unusually short piece from a couple of days ago. We don’ get much country songs round there ‘ere parts so enjoy what there is for the time being!
Silver Note – Sonic Rainboom VIP | Synth-Rock
Silver Note burst into the pony music scene a year and a half ago, with his breakout hit ‘Sonic Rainboom’. Well, now he’s gone back to his roots and remastered it for all to enjoy once again. As one of my favourite tracks from him, it’s a pleasure to have another reason to revisit it!
Steel Chords – These Answers (Who I Am) | Alt. Rock / Punk
Hey Steel, your Green Day is showing! It’s about time we got some of Steel Chords’ music on this site, and what better way to do that than with a alt.rock / punk track that shows Steel’s music influence very clearly. Go check it out for a track that could fit in with any early Green Day song!
1st Capital – I’ll Show You My Loyalty | Alt. Rock
So here’s one that we missed. 1st Capital did a cover of this song, originally by PhonyBrony and Feather, abouta year and a half ago. Here we have a remastered version, which interestingly uses Feather’s own vocals. I think this is my new jam 😀
Dr. Somepony – The Lightbringer Among Us | Progressive Metal
Time for more Fallout: Equestria themed music! Dr. Somepony has been around for a while now, but seems to have been on a hiatus until recently. Take a listen to this track for double kick drums and djenty guitars galore!
Stallionslaugher – End to it All | Metal
Stallionslaugher brings the spirit of metal again with a new piece, revolving around the theme of Twilight’s feelings if she were to become immortal. It may have been officially stated that she won’t outlive her friends, but another great thing about fan works is that they can create infinite “what if” alternative arcs!
Liquid Harmony – Stand By You (feat. GuitarBrony13 & Silver Note) | Soft Rock
Hearts and Hooves Day is better with your special somepony, and Liquid Harmony went the extra mile and composed a song for his beloved one while gathering the help of GuitarBrony13 and Silver Note, the pony way! A heartfelt piece of soft rock with tender vocals that melt the heart, now this is the kind of things that makes it feel like we’re in Equestria.
Segments of Life – The Future Must Be Met | Trancecore
Segments of Life’s music always gets me hyped. Their style involves a hard rock/metal sound with lots of electronic elements implemented into it; they dubbed it “Trancecore”. It’s pretty epic, go check it out, it’s worth it!
Reverbrony – Vacant Abstracts | Symphonic Rock
Take a seat for a while, we’ve got a new Reverbrony song here. Sweeping orchestral, melodious piano and heavy guitars all come together in this track, who says you can’t have the best of both worlds?
