Luck Rock – Altius Volantis | Rock

It is heartfelt tributes to characters like these that I love the most, and Luck Rock certainly did a wonderful job at making this Rainbow Dash track awesome! Blissful guitar riffs, lovely vocals, and even a lead guitar part at the end to reflect the character’s personality, all contribute to make this song quite the great tribute and callback to Rainbow Dash’s story as depicted in the show!

Lectro Dub – King of Monsters (demo) | Hard Rock

Another gem from the Unfinished Business album, this one is shining with dark magic and is working awesomely as a character theme of sorts for King Sombra. With a fitting and delightful Hard Rock body, it delivers tasty riffs and amazing vocals of several different styles, bringing the darkness in the coolest and most rocking ways!

Francis Vace – So Long (Covering PrinceWhateverer) (feat. 4EverfreeBrony) | Soft Rock

When two talented musicians team up to cover a meaningful and already amazing song from another talented musician, it can only result in something awesomazing! Turning the original Metal track into a Soft Rock version and featuring 4EverfreeBrony‘s vocals, this cover does a mighty job at conveying the depth of the theme through emotional vocals from both singers, and a top-notch instrumental courtesy of Francis Vace. A wonderful cover indeed, from the album The Old Mare And The Sea that is out now!

Elias Frost – Best Friends Until the End of Time (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Metal

Elias Frost did it again!! Bringing the delightful Metal vibes to S7’s first song as part of a “royal duty”, the musician provides an alternate version full of sick guitar riffs and drums, and epic vocals. There’s even extra teacups! It’s like not even our writeups would be safe from Trixie’s antics when [teacup!] did the [teacup!] to [teacup!]

Reverbrony – Corrosion Creeps | Progressive Metal

This one is a long one folks (although, admittedly, not by Reverb’s standards) so strap yourselves in, we’re going for a journey. We start with clean, dark riffs on acoustics and layers are added, exchanged and layered until we’re neck neck in dirty guitars and heavy, driving drums, all backed by an almost ever present ethereal choir. Tight grooves, tight guitars and very tight production.

Lectro Dub – Turn Into You (demo) | Hard Rock

From the Unfinished Business album full of other demo tracks, Turn Into You is a delightful Hard Rock gem like we’re not used to see in this community, about the Changelings and working awesomely as an anthem of sorts. Both the riffs and the lead guitar solo are top-grade headbanging material and it is truly wonderful to get tracks like these in the community too. Hard Rock is not dead!!

MetalPony – Fandom Pride (feat. Djohn Mema) | Metal

Heartfelt songs like these are what makes our community shine~ An honest and passionate new track from MetalPony with the help of Djohn Mema, Fandom Pride could be considered the spiritual successor of the personally life-changing Proud to be a Brony, in the way that it expresses that pride of being part of such a phenomenon that is the Brony community, with all the strength granted by the power of Passion. A strong Metal instrumental truly conveying much emotion, direct yet very meaningful lyrics, and both heavy and soft vocals of much beauty, all make this special track a very relatable and wonderful fan work.

StealingShad3z – Battlegrounds | Alternative Rock

A song with a wonderful concept and message, StealingShad3z’s new release tells about the Battlegrounds of life and how we can count on our true friends to be our “party members”, fighting alongside us and giving us strength, much like how the Mane 6 can always count on each other. And with the soft Alternative Rock instrumental and vocals that are equally amazing, the message is told with a perfect tenderness matching its intent.

Dragonal – Lament | Progressive Metal

Dragonal returned with a new track focusing on Luna’s character depth, and it is always a delight! The progression in this one is conveying much depth and story intent, and overall this calm yet powerful track does a mighty job at portraying both the tragedy of Luna’s situation and some hidden yet neverfading feelings. An amazing tribute!

PrinceWhateverer – Fight This War (feat. DivinumX) | Metal

We can always count on PrinceWhateverer to bring some of the most epic Metal in this community, and that ever since the forever classic Destabilize!! This Changeling-themed song from the Reinvent album is a real treat, featuring an awesome intrumental of many rocking wonders that we love to get from the musician, and signature vocals that are as enjoyable as always, with additional vocals from DivinumX that are very much welcomed. Overall this is another masterpiece from the album that will never grow old! Rock on my ponies! |¯| (hoof in the air)
