I guess we were all really hanging out for some new official show songs. It makes sense, the last show song was more than eight months ago (slightly less if you count Legend Of Everfree). Enter Best Friends Until the End of Time and suddenly we’ve got more remixes than you could shake a stick at. This particular version takes a very unique approach to the source material, and brings it to a really chill downtempo place. Combining thethe original melody, vocal chops and future chords with trap kick and hithat rolls, it creates something that almost feels like it shouldn’t work, but very certainly does.

Skelter did it again! With a somewhat haunting atmosphere, this Trap beat fits well the dark and almost eerie mood from the cover art, and the melodies are doing a great job at conveying both the mighty power from the Tree of Harmony and the tragic consequences there could be from mishandling it.

Definitely one of Skelter’s finest works, this new Trap tune feels like the musician is going all-out, with punchy lead melodies, a solid beat, various Trap vocal samples, and a tasty bass. The twist at 2:45 is especially impactful and really hits powerfully, completing the whole track as a mighty Trap anthem for the Everfree Forest.
