You can feel the mood progress throughout as we visit some of life’s more pleasant memories, our vivid recollections, times of joy, and times we wish to forget. The album releases on May 1, 2019 and if you like intricate story telling through song, this is the album for you!

As mysterious as it is curiously gorgeous, Heart of Thicket is the conception of Chiptune Brony, the resident jack-of-all-trades composer who hails from Oregon. The composition brings the audience in with ethereal and uncertain soundscapes, later woven into a World soundtrack of sorts. It is very reminiscent of many film soundtracks from the 80’s and 90’s, creating a familiar yet peculiar and exotic set of tones and melodies.

From the Ponies at Dawn charity album, Recollections, Einarx has given us a reprise of Guardian. Unlike their VIP of the song back in 2017, this takes everything from before and flips it on its head! All in all we’ve been given a very soothing turn from the hard hitters of yesteryear, with a heavily ethnic feel mixed with subtle electronic elements and a foreboding atmosphere that will instantly take you on an ethereal journey from the Far-East!
[ASOS] MrMehster – Holi (Festival of Colours) | Psytrance / Electro
From the recent A State of Sugar: Ice Cream album Mehster brings us “Holi” and a bright and vibrant festival of colours it is! Psytrance is always an interesting bout of fun and there is a healthy dose of variation that even pull from various genres throughout to truly bring out a festival like feel in the song. One thing I have to note especially are the vocals. They bring a sense of life into the fold and overall, this song has something for everyone! 🙂

Folk music is something that I don’t often see from the fandom, but its always something to cherish when it surfaces. ‘Good Night’ evokes a haunting melancholic mood and tells a tale of the two sisters, from Luna’s perspective as she waits out her isolation on the moon. Its a very soothing piece with Velvet R. Wings‘ signature vocals and some stellar and crisp instrumentation and if you have the time, you should really lend them your ear.
