Hey kiddos, it’s Reverie, and while I’m busy being sad and hating myself that I haven’t been working on the Top Ten listings that much due to school and graduation and all that, I’ve written a comprehensive review, going track by track through ALL of the new Vylet release, entitled Super Pony World. Since we don’t want to exclude some of the deluxe version material, this is going to cover all of the base tracks plus a couple of the original pieces from the deluxe version. Yo, So when Fruity told me he was working on a Pony/Brony themed core album I was of course deepy interested.

As you may know, I host “No Morality” every other Friday on PonyvilleFM, which is a mashed up, mind bending hour of hardcore, speedcore, mashcore, etc… so I’m always on the lookout for great hardcore Pony music. As a huge supporter of Brony music I try not to saturate my sets too much with music from outside the fandom so this album is a breath of fresh air for me.Let’s get into it, shall we?

Various Artists – JapanPonyParty! Vol.3 | Album | Multi-Genre

We completely missed this when it first released back in May, but thanks to someone sending it in to us, we’re able to share it with you today! This compilation album featuring artists from the Japanese fandom scene was released at Japan Ponycon in May earlier this year. It features some names you might recognise (e.g. Oodoratoo2, delfino), but also has a wide variety of other artists you may never have heard of, and a huge range of genres too! The above video contains previews of each track, and the album itself can be downloaded from JPP’s website for free!

Lycan Dese Beats – Beats Me 2! | Album | Multi-Genre


Just over a year after the release of their first compilation album, Beats Me, Lycan Dese Beats has released a new album, consisting of entirely new and exclusive songs by the musicians they usually feature on their show. Similar to the Ponies at Dawn albums, this album offers songs from a grand variety of artists, however, this album has a greater non-electronic influence that you might expect, perhaps more all-rounded.

You can download this from Bandcamp for any given price, and we’ll be featuring songs from the album as they’re released with an [LDB] label in the post titles.

Various Artists – King Mars – A Tribute | Album | Multi-Genre


3 months ago King Mars, a brony deeply connected with music and the fandom, sadly passed away from a heart attack. In the wake of this, Staccato Flame and Techoh set up a tribute album in his name, and 3 months later it’s finally ready. Gathering together a whole range of artists, this album of 24 tracks contains a whole variety of music.

This is actually the first of two albums from the King Mars tribute team. The second one is still open for submissions, so if you have a song you’d like to dedicate to King Mars, the information on that is on the MLR forums.

We’ll be posting tracks from this album as they’re released with a [KM] tag at the start of the title, like we did [P@D] for the Ponies at Dawn album.
