Here it is, ponies!! The brand new rebuck of the VIP of Black Magic (that had already got a Trap Redux), premiered during StrachAttack’s Ciderfest 2016 Performance! (I recommend that mix by the way) As party-material as ever, this rebuck acts as a concentrate of what makes the tune so awesome, with its amazing melodies, heavy bass, delightful Trap elements conducted in StrachAttack’s purest signature sound, and dank additions. Truly to become an all-time classic, it celebrates StrachAttack’s perfect streak of awesome releases both production-wise and mix-wise. Speaking of mixes, I highly recommend his TrotCon 2016 mix, that I grown very addicted to.
[P@D] DJT & R3CTIFIER – No More Than This (feat. PegasYs) | Electro House
Some more Voyager greatness getting a proper YouTube release now, this amazing collaboration track displays all the might from the fusion of DJT’s and R3ctifier‘s musical talents, in a Electro House masterpiece that could only be made possible by such an union. Not only an impressive instrumental full of beautiful melodies and exhibiting a solid progression, but also pony vocal chops that are always so very welcome, and delightful vocals from PegasYs who remains my favorite male vocalist in the community ever since I discovered his voice with Starlight’s Rainbow Rain!
[P@D] Francis Vace – Still Waiting | Soft Rock
Francis Vace’s beautiful solo contribution to the Voyager P@D album gets the YouTube video release it deserves, featuring a much inspired and passionate animation from Hackd that really contributes to the depth and the feelings evoked by this much emotional song. Taking on the theme of the headcanon of Twilight’s immortality, it brings all the depth with Francis’ amazing heartfelt vocals along a tender and reflective Soft Rock instrumental, as Twilight shares her inner thoughts and feelings to the moon, wishing that Luna would still be here at her side.
Brohoof Studios – Fire (feat. Glitchling) (syzygy. Remix) | Trapstep
You all have heard it at the Cider Party, this banger remix from Syzygy is lit, there’s no denying it. Featuring Glitchling‘s awesome rap vocals from the original track over at Brohoof Studios, the remix blows us away with massive Dubstep drops and an incredible sound design, and manages to perfectly blend in Trap sections for a hard-hitting result of multiple facets. The L-Train – Party Cannon Overdrive (feat. Francis Vace & TheMusicReborn) | Skacore
This is my jam!! An amazing fusion made possible by a most lovely collaboration, this Skacore track blends Francis Vace‘s Ska-Punk style and vocals with The L-Train’s signature Metal sound for a combination of vocal styles and an instrumental of much originality and force, sublimated by a masterful trumpet play from TheMusicReborn. While it looks like our friend Anon is in trouble, we sure are getting the special treatment from Pinkie as she inspired such a wonderful collab. Among the delightful Ska vibes, the heavy guitar riffs, and both the softer and harsher vocals from Francis, this impressive song will take any party to its peak, perhaps triggering an Overdrive!
Fire Frets – Chasing Fate (Covering 4everfreebrony & Relative1Pitch) | Country
Fire Frets serves us with an incredible cover here at the apple orchard for Applejack day, delivering an honest and masterful performance of 4everfreebrony’s original song Chasing Fate featuring Relative1Pitch. Every instrument played with much passion, the musical ride takes us through the emotional piano melodies, the beautiful violin performance from Relative1Pitch, wonderful new vocals, and blissful guitar play, to retell the moving story. The Apple family truly would be proud.
Vahts – Feeling Helpless | Synthwave
It’s time for a new release under Francis Vace’s alias for electronic music, Vahts, and this much welcome Synthwave track brings forward some amazing character depth from Applejack along emotional synths and a characteristic vocal style. Originality, awesome composition, blissful atmosphere, and underlying feelings, this song has got pretty much everything.
Ponyphonic – Shy Heart | Acoustic
Ponyphonic is known for their timeless (relative to fandom lifespan) songs, and it’s about time we saw another! It’s been over a year since their last original pony song, and this certainly is a great way to make a comeback. With so many melodies and sounds being played by guitar and strings in this, you’d be surprised to hear that it’s all done using live instruments. That’s right, not a single orchestral VST in sight, something which I greatly admire when available and done properly! And with so much emotion poured into the song, it’s likely to draw up some feeling in you too.
PegasYs ft. Midnight Melody – Dental Damn (Agents of Discord Remix) | Hip-Hop
This gives me flashbacks to about a year ago when the original of this track was released. Unfortunately far too late for the remix EP, but it’s nice to see this tune still being remixed. In this particular version, AoD makes plenty of use of the horns from the original, combined with a classic break beat rhythm and hip-hop style drum sampling.
