Shoo be doo? Reverbrony’s latest song has a lot of atmospheric elements to give a the haunting feel of isolation beneath the ocean. Also Lyra as a seapony with swordfish-style armour. You can’t go wrong with that!
Trance! Something we see far too infrequently here at the herald. Here fractilx and Kyu♥ take their(?) usual hardcore spin on trance music in a song about Fluttershy’s brother, presumably based on the previews since it was released before the episode this morning.
It’s time to immerse into a darker concept, story and song with Radiarc’s new release, Ex Machina, “by the machine”, nothing short of breathtaking. With a complete description to go along with the music, this track full of intriguing soundscapes and dark yet beautiful choruses will guide you through this unusual yet enjoyable mood.
A track part of the Opalescence charity album, Revelry expresses the tenderness and care from the very concept of the album with its soothing melodies and mellow synths, in a masterful and fresh Future way. There is joy in harmony.
Sonic Hooves graces us with a wonderful piece embodying many aspect of Equestria for us to remember – and even feel – what it would be like, through the power of music. Its wonderful harmonies, emotional melodies, and regal instruments all participate to convey both the strength and the tenderness, both the values and the feelings portrayed by our beloved ponies, as we are the witness of many Dawns of Equestria in our soul.
Composer of many wonders Jastrian releases a new piece, this time centered around Pinkie and the concept brought by that gorgeous artwork. With its beautiful piano notes, its wonderful melodies, and its upbeat mood, this track and perfect tribute to Pinkie is leading us through the fantasy, guiding the steps of our imagination as we wander in that other world through Pinkie’s eyes, marvelling at the wonders we see and hear, and feeling that powerful emotion that music is creating, a magic like none other. Jastrian is truly a magician!
The other songs we’ve featured about Flurry Heart have been either happy and uplifting or rather calm, this one takes a…um…slightly different approach. In this track, Geekbrony seems to know his way around Serum and has some nice use of voice samples too.
While we all sit and hope for the return of SoGreatAndPowerful (praise be to him, our elusive musical overlord), it’s great to hear some remixes of his music. Check out Sound Bandit’s spin on the Applejack-based song On My Own.
It’s been a few months since we last saw any pony music from New Reverian (Lord of the Quesadillas), so it’s great to see him back so we can feature him on the site. Have some chill dnb from him and check out his channel for some other great songs too.
