Combining Direct Current’s normally chill electronic style and Crusader’s pop-punk vocals, we get this, a collab I honestly didn’t expect to see any time soon! It’s pretty cute though, and a nice way to end the regular posting for today.
Possibly inspired by R3CTIFIER’s remix of the same song, Xavi has ‘done an Archie‘ and collabed with himself to put his own spin on iblank2apples’ hit from last year. Cute pony pics included completely free of charge.
An epic orchestral piece now from the Sonic Hooves, who recently made a return to the brony music scene after a short hiatus. This piece is a little more energetic than the usual stuff from then, and is a collaboration with their friends Kopyce and Lunar Wolf.
Let’s start the day with an absolute banger! Panic collaborated with musician and singer Even Skies to make this blissfully melodic house song for the new Lycan Dese Beats album, and it gooooood stuff! I hope we get to hear more of Even Skies’ vocals in the fandom music scene soon.
Another great LDB album song, this time from ExplodingPonyToast, giving us something considerably more chilled and downtempo than his usual upbeat electronica. This track contains some lovely slow arps and glistening lead sounds, all topped off with Fluttershy vocal chops from So Many Wonders.
Well here we are! The resident ‘mega collab’ from the recent LDB album is a phenomenal work of blues music (something we don’t get too often in the fandom) from Spectra and Liquid Harmony, featuring Flak on vocals, Dragonal on lead guitar and Zephysonas on saxophone. This track is something a bit different from Spectra especially, but he’s tried on many different hats, and they all seem to fit just as well. Definitely one of my personal favourites from the album, make sure to check it out!
Probably his best solo piece to date, Budzy made this song for the recent Lycan Dese Beats album. With excellently mixed sounds, designed to a tee, and great melodies to build things up, it’s really great to see how far Budzy has come since his submission to the first LDB album last year. Onwards and upwards!
Released last weekend, upcoming player in the EDM pony scene FruityFusion has dropped a massive twenty track long compilation of his recent explorations into a large variety of musical styles. From house to hardcore, catch the full write up below!
Time for some more Lycan Dese Beats album music! While this isn’t about the 2013 blockbuster (sorry Disney fans), it is still a great little progressive house song, and even features a kazoo! Definitely not something you can say about many brony songs these days…or ever to be honest.
