BlueBrony always makes awesome unique interpretations of recent episodes, and this one about Pharynx is excellently done. A bit of 90’s style rapping with a funky beat helps tell a humorous story from the changeling’s perspective and the vocals are just the right amount of cheesy throughout, with some clever lyrics too.
A haunting beginning to this track from Alexey Kotlyar sets the scene with some ambient sounds and the crow of ravens before spooky strings start to play an eerie waltz. A bit of a character piece, this definitely has a defined dark atmosphere throughout, and makes great use of foreboding yet playful melodies.
TPressleyJ’s story-infused track Shockwave didn’t go unnoticed, and AnimatronicPony and Nevermourn teamed up to reawaken the song with a new body of wubs and bass! The story narrating part was even re-voiced by Nevermourn himself which is adding quite a lot to the track! Definitely a very lovely remix, it brings sick and powerful beats fitting for the impact of a Shockwave!
Certainly another token of Vylet’s talent and progress as a musician, In A Rush is a meaningful tune with quite the backstory (read the description). The song brings forward blissful and gorgeous vocals, with an equally beautiful instrumental of many influences. The clean and indie percussions are reminding of Two Door Cinema Club’s take at Indie Rock, while Electronic flavors are definitely present as well. An all-around masterpiece!
Off the recently released compilation album Candy from A State of Sugar, Adamant is Suskii’s venture in a new musical style. Garage is definitely a genre that needs to be explored more, and tactful and refined pieces like this one are a fine example of what it can do. Mellow yet somewhat dark atmosphere, intriguing piano, and clean percussions are all creating quite a blissful and tasty experience!
The movie’s Rainbow is reaching far and wide among community musicians, and as beautifully as a sonic rainboom, with now Francis Vace’s gorgeous and inspired Ska cover adding to the many shades of colors. The vocals are just making me melt, while the tasteful instrumental shines bright with the musician’s signature style, and it all delivers such a magnificent and high-energy Ska rendition of the movie’s finale song!
This Fluttershy-cheered Complextro tune from Light Assassin is quite the choon, with a definitely very danceable rythm, cool fast-paces wubs, and addictive beats! Time to get on the dance floor and party to the rythm, ponies! This treat is available as part of A State of Sugar’s compilation album Candy!
Short yet very sweet, this is iblank2apples’ Future House take at the definitely very popular Best Friends Until the End of Time! Exploring in new musical directions is always cool, and Blankie did a great job at expanding on the happy vibes of the original with mellow wubs and clean percussions!
Coming from the most recent A State Of Sugar compilation, Candy, Greyfade bring us a psychedelic trip with Moribund! The bass, that it’s the most important element in psytrance, is really well performed, as with the drops, I love how Greyfade build the drops and the suspense between the first drop and the second drop with the ambient and orchestral elements is pretty well made! It really takes you to an amazing trip, a song that you should not forget to listen! Good job on this one Greyfade, I’m proud! Covering a genre that it’s quickly forgotten by the fandom and only 2 or 3 of people in the fandom produce it as main genre!
If you want to listen to more amazing songs with amazing histories and voyages, download or buy Candy! An amazing experience that you should not forget!
FlutterRage’s channel is a gold mine for mighty Metal covers of community classics, and this newest cover is as rocking as can be, with heavy vocals, tasty guitar riffs, nostalgic melodies from the original, and even sick video animation! Sub for more greatness incoming!
