It seems the last BronyCon has brought out quite a few “we’re not dead” songs lately, this one courtesy of pony pop punk staples Shad3z and Luck Rock, along with the pony pop punk originator Forest Rain! However, make no mistake, Shad3z is the star of the show here and he kills it. The title refers to the transition between season nine and Generation Five, featuring lyrics about what you’d expect with a slight twist (lyrics about never growing up). This cover wow. It’s everything you want to hear from a rock ballad. A punk rock ballad to be exact! About a rocking romance to be. Crusader’s original song’s message. His lyrics and most of all the emotion is still there. But there is something more that makes it this cover. Soo good. Forest Rain and Wubcake turn this a duet with a big flavor of punk rock and sweet riffs. The slight lyrical change make this love song for everypony to enjoy and embrace. This song will fill your heart with all kinds of feels and fun. Forest Rain and Wubcake have wonderful chemistry in their harmony, with smooth punk guitar. Yet with this dreamy melody to create this romantic vibe.
Sonder the Human – YAY | Future Bass / Chiptune
A relative unknown producer has burst onto the scene with a very cheerful and well-executed banger! Featuring elements of chiptune, synthpop, and, of course, pony samples, this is excellent for early output and shows Sonder is one to look out for.

From new compilation album Brony Forever, this tribute to BronyCon is carrying the musicians’ feelings, and it’s so wonderful how they came together for a musical tribute to BronyCon through that album as the last edition of the community’s biggest convention happened. Mellow vocals and bittersweet synths are completed by a requiem on the guitar with that solo, making for a very rich song!
Vivix – Princess of Intense Geekery | Alternative Rock
Let’s rock out in a garage filled with dusty amps and vintage guitars! That’s one of the things that Vivix’s delightful Alt Rock sound is evoking me! This new track and pony tribute is all about the princesses and the obsession of the latest one, or so we could imagine along listening to this!
Nyancat380 – The great and lonely $uicide road | Psytrance
One of my favorite releases from Nyancat380, this one delivers so much emotion as we hear Trixie’s feelings in her voice all throughout the track, calling back to what we felt while watching S06E06 No Second Prances! The Psytrance drops are top-notch too, and this track is just perfect! I only wish it could be longer!
Daniel Ingram – Love is in Bloom (Hoofy Remix) | Hands Up
Going back to Hooves Up Hands Up roots, Hoofy provides a definitely very lovely remix of a classic, and such spontaneous remixes are always so welcome! Cute melodies and a refined composition are celebrating love anew as this remix unfolds, even featuring delightful vocal chops!
[BFK] Koron Korak – Sweep Sweet Sweep | Funky House
A new sweep remix in response to Dashie’s call in The Saddle Row Review, this contribution to compilation album Brony Forever by Koron is quite impressive with that very clean and refined House arrangement that also brings the funky-ness! And always, with Twilight’s voice from her own “remix” all throughout! Also available through Koron’s Bandcamp!
UndreamedPanic – Cruizin’ (feat. Kozmos) | Hip-Hop / Glitch-Hop
Panic and Kozmos team up in Cruizin’, a very groovy Spitfire tune with a lovely atmosphere of bright and clean licks and riffs giving a rather relaxed indie feel to the whole song. Kozmos’s rapping is very on point and is buttery smooth and laid back, perfectly complimenting the ‘kick-back-and-relax’ energy. Now thats not to say its all smooth sailing, as there are a couple very well laid out switchups bringing on a harsher grit with some superb breakbeats. All in all this is a superb track to listen to on a hot day, when all you want to do, is sit back and have a couple drinks.
Daniel Ingram – Time to be Awesome (TPressleyJ Remix) | Hybrid Future Bass
Time to be Awesome is a song that to be real with all of you. Is that you like it, or you hate it. It’s one of Rainbow Dash’s best songs when it comes to her character. I cried watching the movie for the first time. I loved this song! She is my best pony after all. Now Mr. TPressleyJ comes out with a banger that just takes this song to a new level. The upbeat, motivating music by the musical pony genius Daniel Ingram has been built into this heart-pounding powerhouse remix by Pressley! The beats add to the energy Daniel composed for this song. All the elements of the original are there and some fitting sounds bites of RD best one-liners for more flavor. This song is a banging awesome time! AHHHH YEAHHHH! As always, I ask you to judge for yourself.
