This song arose from a fun challenge from Koron to Makenshi to use the instruments HE choose! What came out of that challenge, was this Music piece! Resembling the wonderful weather sky with these Instruments with each to their own composition. A fun challenge that brought forward a wonderful track among friends and we are truly blessed that we may share their Magic! It’s also alot of fun to finally tag Kenshi on Twitter with this post! and Koron again my friend; You slayed! ❤ love you guys!
Frozen Night – Fire and Frost | Orchestral
Frozen Night is acclaimed for their highly articulate and expressive orchestral compositions, and Fire and Frost is no different. The audience is instilled with a sense of duality and drama as cascading string sections and french horns accompany the listener to a powerful mid-section. Brilliance is found in no shortage with this piece. A story is yet to come.
Acouste Wholenote – In the Meantime | Alternative Rock
It’s hard to believe this tune was just an outtake at one point! The underrated Acouste Wholenote really shines in this lovely song. The song contains some exquisitely catchy verses and a totally infectious hook, along with some impressive guitar work (the various tones used are excellent!). Perhaps a bit influenced by bands like the Counting Crows, the song calls back to many of the situations Fluttershy has found herself in and, if you haven’t already, will make anyone fall in love with Acouste’s heavenly vocals.
FenPony – Flow Rhyme Till the End of Time | Hip Hop / Rap
FenPony returns with another fiery rap, this time over a self-produced flip of the season 7 opener’s tune! Fen delivers a frantic rap over the Amen Break-heavy beat, switching perspectives between each of the Mane Six and adjusting his cadence and content to signal the switches. Of course, Fen’s signature speed rap is present here and, as usual, he doesn’t miss a beat. Hip hop heads won’t wanna miss out on this one!
NYMUND9 – Retaliation | Orchestral
NYMUND9 brings a really orchestration to the table with Retaliation. The first few seconds already set a sense of urgency and tension that drives the theme and sets the mood which is soon accompanied by an impressive sound-stage of woodwinds, strings, and brass. Cozy Glow is a cunning little devil; It is not a matter of “if” but “when” she will put her schemes into motion. But when she does, will we be ready?
UndreamedPanic – Raiders | Retrowave
An extremely talented and versatile musician, UndreamedPanic graces us with a powerful, action-induced track, reminiscent of the Fallout Equestria setting! The beat of the track is somewhat relaxed compared to the urgent, danger-imposing feel of the pulsating synth as well as the harsh saws and bass. The instrumentation gives the track a very 80s movie style, and you can really get a sense of the fierce drama taking place with the Raiders! Originally planned to be a part of an album that was scrapped, we should all be thankful that we still get to hear this excellent track!
Eniix – A Little Shy | House
Eniix dropping a wonderful remaster of the track Fluttershy’s Dream! As a huge Fluttershy fan, this remaster truly pleases my ears. ❤ I love how the melody literaly transfers you into her dreams and creates a wonderful and heartwarming melodic adventure to enjoy! I love how the track uses both synthwaves and house vibes! Well done Eniix! Fluttershy is proud of you! Thank you for representing her wonderful dream! ❤
Arabesque Sympony – Rainbow Rocks (Covering Daniel Ingram) (feat. Drummershy & Danilo Pantusa) | Rock
Arabesque, Drummershy, and Danilo have teamed up for an awesome cover of Rainbow Rocks! I really enjoy it next to the movie itself of course. 🙂 And I even dare say its one of the most enjoyable covers I’ve heard in some time. Its very joyful and melodic! And I most definitely recommend a listen! You don’t wanna miss out on this sick release! Rock on everyone! And to all involved with this cover; You make Daniel proud! ❤
TCB – Skyline (feat. Pinkie Pie) (Drixale Remix) | Chillout
Borrowing from the catchy vocal chops TCB put together in the original, Drixale gives a cool, big-space feel to Pinkie’s voice. This remix starts out pretty chill, then about halfway through picks up into a faster, trap-style mix. The vocal chops are dangerously catchy and the varying drum beats are all fun and easy to groove along to!
