With a unique mix of traditional music styles, EveryDayDashie takes us on a trip “Over the Mounts and Streams”. The music mimics the journey over wide mountains and across wild streams with an energetic and upbeat tune. The blend of Chinese and Celtic elements enrich each other and give this journey a mystical element. With all this emphasised by the percussion, the song will swiftly catch your imagination and bring out your inner wanderlust.

Zythiria – Grief and Repeat | Indie Rock
Zythiria’s latest track is dark and moody and captures the essence of Discord’s grief, being immortal and having outlived Fluttershy. It beings ambiently, with nothing but epiano to be joined by Zythria’s voice and many background ooohs, creating a most eerie and heartbreaking atmosphere perfect for its lyrics about eternal pain and grief. Mid song, it picks up more with guitar and drums, leading in to a subdued instrumental break at the end. Overall it is beautiful and striking so make sure to check it out!
[P@D] 4everfreebrony – I’d Rather Be In The Orchard | Acoustic
We probably all at one point or another have experienced wishing to rather be with the people we love than where our duty to other things forced us, and 4everfreebrony has delivered us this bittersweet song to dampen that feeling. The emphatic lyrics, paired with his calm style of vocals, get perfectly accompanied by an ensemble of acoustic guitars, flute and strings. All this creates a memorable and heartfelt piece of music that will be stuck in your head for quite a while, therefore give it a listen!
[Equinity] Skyshard & Darkspeen Shore – Moonglow | Ambient / Piano
Moonglow is a wonderfully gentle piece that closes out Equinity’s recent 06 compilation album; “Expedition”. It sends a chill through you and perfectly encapsulates that chilly calm of the night with some incredibly powerful strings padding out the soundscape that weave and float along the emotive piano trills and runs. It really gives you that sense of the world quieting down. Another fun note is how the song title is named after a jungle bound flower in Terraria and games like that are what immediately come to mind upon hearing this piece and in my opinion, really makes this an apt story to end this chapter out!
4everfreebrony – Mail It In (covering The Wasteland Wailers) | Rock
We all know that 4everfreebrony can sing pretty songs of love, but today he is using Equestria’s Postal Service for his message with his own spin on The Wasteland Wailer’s “Mail It In”. While the song is a bit more rocking than the original, especially with fantastic solo in the middle, it still retains that sweet melody and lyrics about Derpy. All this is rounded off by a cutely animated video, so not only give the song a listen, but also the music video a watch!
[Equinity] Skyshard – Return to the Garden (Remember Who You Are) | Epic Orchestral
Here’s another offering from the recent Equinity album! This grandiose orchestral piece from Skyshard wastes no time establishing a Celtic feel, which pairs very nicely with the background image. You’re transported (back) to this otherworldly garden in this sequel to one of their previous songs.
PumpkinZ – Colors | Hyperpop
PumpkinZ is dipping their toes into the world of hyperpop with this track from their upcoming Colours EP. Blending in elements of future bass too, this song keeps that lovely upbeat feel that both genres convey well, with some lovely epiano melodies filling in the quieter sections that build up to clean, smooth drops.
Evershade – A Thousand Likes (feat. Namii) | Pop
Pop Girl Summer isn’t over yet, so there’s still time to enjoy this upbeat bop from a power pop duo! Evershade’s fun and breezy approach to pop music is a great match for Namii’s guest vocals on this song about being the most glamorous pony at the poolside. Grab a drink, take a listen and imagine yourself living the high life with Pipp Petals.
[Equinity] sleepy eyes – Back To Equestria | Hands Up
Number six on Equinity’s expedition album, Sleepy eye’s “Back to Equestria” is a short but suave bop featuring a lovely array of different sections. It opens with orchestral-like synth design, quickly building up with arpeggios and spoken word hyping the return of the elements, leading right into the drop. The middle is met with brassier synths and Sweetie Belle chops, and towards the end, there’s some really crunchy percussion for a great finishing touch!
