A month after his ’04 EP, Steryotype has released his second EP of the year, as well as the second EP from his Till ’10 EP Collection! Just like the last one, this EP consists of 10 lo-fi tracks with samples taken from old records, mostly from the 60s and 80s. While none of the tracks contain original lyrics, they utilise their samples in a unique fashion, some of which taking on a strong hip-hop influence. My personal favourite tracks are StuffStartinToHitDifferentNowadays, IStartedToCry, DoneWrong and You’veBlessedMeForever; Stuff features a chilled atmosphere while feeling naturally aged, serving as a grand way to open this collection, while the other three combine hip-hop drums with the prominent samples at a perfect balance. In times like these, you’re probably looking for something calm and chilled out. Why not spin this a few times?

Mogul Dash – Get it Started (feat. Pinkie Rose and Niko de Ruiz) | Glitch-Hop
After well over half a decade in the making, Mogul Dash’s collab with Pinkie Rose and Niko de Ruiz (formerly known as Buffalo Brony) is finally here! While a shorter version was uploaded in late 2018, this is the finished product and it was definitely worth the wait. Pinkie Rose delivers fantastic harmonic vocals while Niko puts forth a strong set of rapped verses over a catchy instrumental with powerful bass and drums reminiscent of an 80s track!
Quicksilver – No Table Manners | Ska Punk
Need something silly and enjoyable? Quicksilver’s got you covered. No Table Manners is a fast ska punk beat about Twilight’s hayburger addiction and table manners, or lack thereof. She’s described as a burger-demolishing machine driven by nothing but an intense appetite. Check out that lead guitar riff. Sounds like something straight out of a Blink-182 song!
Koron Korak & Mane In Green – Choices (Requiem for Cerebre Arkor) | Orchestral
Oh boy… Koron Korak’s latest track is a collaboration with Mane In Green, and Choices sees the two come together to make the fifth tribute to the late Cerebre-Arkor, a graphics artist as well as Koron’s brother. This track in particular goes through five orchestral phases, with choirs abound, transitioning into an emotional string and violin section before everything fades out and all we’re left with is a piano. These two musicians have done an amazing job at converging their own talents in a single musical outlet and the emotion dripping from it is palpable.
Mane In Green – Inner Peace | Orchestral
Mane In Green returns with her first solo original of the year, Inner Peace. Inspired by a dream about Fluttershy who finds peace in her own little circle (hence the title), this track is soft, calming and peaceful. Plenty of soft orchestral sounds along with heavenly bells and what sounds like an electric bass guitar. 6 minutes of absolute bliss…
William Anderson – Friendship Report (BGM Recreation by Harmonic Six) | Soundtrack
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I listened to Harmonic Six’s latest release, a recreation of the Friendship Report background music from the first season of MLP:FiM. I really got a nostalgic vibe from it, especially considering how well it was recreated from the ground up. It’s short but sweet, and I hope you also enjoy it.

Ice Angel & OZENE – Cold (Tw3Lv3 Remix) | Drum & Bass
As part of a remix competition hosted by Ice Angel, Tw3Lv3 presents his winning remix of the IA and OZENE collab Cold! While the original was a slow trek through the ice cold wastelands, Tw3Lv3’s take is a lot quicker, showcasing less gloomy synth work over a fast drum beat, charging through the snow. For a song titled Cold, this sure feels warm as can be!
MirroredReality – Saffron | Electro House
Fitting of the titular character, Saffron is an atmospheric track that combines MirroredReality’s signature EDM style with elements from Indian music! The powerful bass and synths combined with a pinch of spice sure make for a nice change in the scene, creating something both relaxing and pumping.
Altius Volantis – Sunrise | Soundtrack
Good morning! Sunrise is a track from Altius’ upcoming album Rusty Wings Tales, and the feeling of the morning has been captured perfectly. Soft and slow orchestral elements like the piano as the main instrument really do well to paint a picture of the morning sun, especially when the bells and strings join in without sounding overcrowded or busy. Doesn’t it just wanna make you throw open the curtains and get started on your day?
LaunchSix – Conduit | Dubstep
The fourth track from Gravity has just landed. Conduit tells a story about a mare who gets the opportunity to travel in space, only to find that she was being used as nothing more than a guinea pig. Musically, the song sees strong dubstep elements marry little pieces of the wonky genre, starting off with a slightly disjointed drum pattern before building up in front of a space-y orchestral-esque synth sound to a powerful drop. The overall vibe really feels like an erratic trip through space!
