Metajoker makes a grand return with 4EverfreeBrony by his side for a catchy alt rock track reminiscient of Two Door Cinema Club! The duo’s harmonies and glitzy guitar riffs set to lyrics about Celestia and Luna’s relationship and memories of how things once were are simply sublime and incredibly memorable. Welcome back, Metajoker! We can’t wait to see what else you come out with.

Frozen Night – Winterheart | Orchestral
Winter is right around the corner, so what better way to welcome it than with a Frozen Night song? This one is the final track from his EP Thorn of the Frozen Star, and it’s another example of his orchestral proficiency, with pianos, strings of many kinds, choirs and the occasional percussion hit all forming a melancholy yet grandiose soundtrack to walking through a snowy plain as the sun shines upon it. As cold as Winter may be, this track will definitely make you feel warm inside!
SweetF1RE – AppleBlood [2019 Remix] | Dubstep
The Russian brony scene is home to some of the most dedicate fans in the entire fandom. SweetF1RE’s remix of his own track AppleBlood is a creepy Russian language banger that features heavy dubstep basslines alongside creepy music box style synths and SweetF1RE’s deep, gravely voice to make a Nightmare Night piece that’ll be sure to creep you out! Somepony needs to give Applejack a Snickers…
Feryl DeMarco – Dream Hopping | Downtempo
This song… I don’t even know how to classify it… Feryl DeMarco’s back with her second single, and while it’s definitely a lot less hectic in comparison to her last track, this one definitely has a unique choppy flair. Borrowing elements from trip hop, ambient and R&B among other genres, Feryl’s successfully created the audio equivalent of wandering around in Luna’s dream realm as she hops from dream to dream of Equestria’s inhabitants. Definitely something to relax to!
Jyc Row – The Centaur Lord (feat. PrinceWhateverer) | Orchestral
Jyc Row’s orchestral trailblazing never ceases to amaze me. Track 2 from Legion is absolutely brutal and chaotic, serving as a tribute to the evil centaur lord himself, Tirek. Joining Jyc is PrinceWhateverer, who provides electric guitar to add an even bigger punch to this already heavy piece. The usage of choirs and heavy percussion along with all the other present instruments really helps to give it an apocalyptic feel, as if to signify that Tirek has officially taken over Equestria and nothing can stop him. As expected from the great Jyc Row, he’s done an amazing job here!
Ocean Melody – Legends of Dragons | Soundtrack
Dragons, dragons everywhere… This instrumental orchestral piece perfectly captures the feeling of charging through the Equestrian Dragonlands. Every string and wind instrument along with the powerful percussion melds together to form something that’d fit perfectly in an RPG game. I’m not the only one who wants an MLP RPG game, right?
Marcus Warner – Reprise | EP | Orchestral
The artist formerly known as Evening Star has returned under his real name, Marcus Warner. As a thank you to the fans who’ve been there for him since day one as well as a tribute to the show itself, he’s put together Reprise, an EP full of ES tracks from way back then, remastered and reimagined in an epic orchestral style. Along with him are a number of guest vocalists and musicians, such as Brione Jackson, who provides live cello to the tracks Octavia and To Build an Army, and Rory Sherman, who in addition to taking part in choir vocals across the EP, also shows off his skills with the flute. In terms of stand out tracks, Starswirl the Bearded definitely hits a high note with its strong atmosphere crafted by a dark choir alongside a viola before building up to add punchy drums and plenty of epic string progressions to top it off. Land of Equestria – the EP’s closer and sole lyrical track – was originally produced a year ago and features fandom musicians Silver Note and Sterling Fusion on vocals. Now it’s back, and with a new beautiful orchestral coat of paint. This EP is nothing short of amazing, and a beautiful way to pay tribute to the show that brought us all together and will continue to inspire. Thanks for the memories, Marcus!
[P@D] GrazySmash & MEQA – Hoof Shaker | Hard Dance
Track 40 of Ponies At Dawn: Eternal is an amazing collaborative banger between GrazySmash and MEQA, right between the album’s midway streak of other bouncy electro tunes. When these two heads are put together, we have an impressive combination of psychedelic and energetic styles, resulting in a long tune that you won’t get tired of listening to. Good luck trying not to dance to this!
The Empty Tomb – Emotions | Lo-fi
“Emotions” is right. The Empty Tomb keeps coming out with new releases, and this one might be their best yet. The track is centred around a filtered sample of what could either be a guitar or a piano set to a smooth beat accented by the sound of water droplets and a moving body of water. While it may be short, there’s nothing but melancholy lo-fi goodness to be found here.
Tw3Lv3 – Release | Album | Lo-fi
The debut album from the fandom’s lo-fi giant Tw3Lv3 is finally here! It has 20 tracks, some of which will be familiar if you follow his channel, such as Old Vibes, Starlight’s Dream, Canterlot Suburb, Tsukimi and so on. Quite a few of the songs are collabs with other producers, such as TheTaze, Steryotype, Power Note and Astral. A couple guest vocalists also appear, such as ShobieShy on the vocal version of Starlight’s Dream, and MC Arch on the closing track I Will Still Think About You. Standout tracks are Memorias for its catchiness, Autumn Breeze (featuring The Empty Tomb) because of the chilled out nature, as well as the aforementioned Tsukimi, Under the Rain and I Will Still Think About You, which displays Arch’s singing abilities really well! Overall, this album is nothing short of fantastic, and an amazing debut that’s well worth the wait. Pick it up when you can!
