Red Spark – A Day’s Adventure | Orchestral

Today we’ve got ourselves another symphonic poem from the stellar Red Spark. Since this is a symphonic poem and has a detailed story line to it I will often reference said story that Red Spark posted on his Twitter and in the description of the song on YouTube (and just for clarity: Red Spark: creator of this amazing piece, Red: Unicorn protagonist of the poem). You can hear silent violins as Red wakes up on a sunny day and stretches. Red Spark adds some deeper tones as Red suddenly realizes that his horn is gone and wings have appeared on his back. You can hear the instruments change slightly as Red begins his daily routine and quickly bumps against his door, after that you can hear the his interested in his potential new abilities as Red Spark adds some lighter higher tones. The track becomes ever so slightly more epic as Red starts thinking of actually flying. The violins return as he sets himself on attempting to fly. The song becomes more movie theme-y as Red watches the birds and thinks of copying them. The song get’s increasingly awesome as Red jumps from the second floor window and glides down gently. As Red jumps from the rooftop the song embraces the epic theme and triumphant horns sound as he finally flies. Red flies for some time until you hear drums as an air current captures him which quickly get drowned out by rising violins symbolizing him flying higher and higher and triumphant music is heard once more as he breaks through the clouds. The song calms down again as Red slowly descends and lands and as he watches the moon rise his wings slowly disappear. Wow… this might actually be my longest article yet and I feel honored that my longest article is about such a masterpiece. I can’t stress enough how much I admire Red Spark for his seemingly endless talent to make stellar Orchestral tracks and this is his best one yet.

Vylet Pony – Scapeghosts (feat. PrinceWhateverer & Foozogz) | Synthrock

Strap in fellas today we’ve got ourselves a longer track by the wonderful Vylet Pony. The song starts out with a dreamy beat that really gives it a mysterious yet calming feel, and then the lyrics set in and really steal the show. Later the singing stops and we once more hear the amazing beat this time accompanied by some great guitar tunes until the lyrics set in once more and tell us some more about the scapeghosts but quickly the lyrics are once more replaced by a slightly different sounding beat that shows you even if this is a seven minute track it will not get boring whatsoever, after that the lyrics start once more and to end of the beat takes over once more accompanied by some more stellar guitar tunes. Overall this song might be the longest one I’ve ever done an article on but oh sweet Celestia it doesn’t get boring, in fact the switch between lyrics and just beat make this song feel even more lively than it already is.

Proto_ssin – Lands (feat. Koron Korak) | Progressive House

Today fellow bronies we’ve got ourselves a great track by Proto_ssin. The track starts out with the beat and some tunes and builds up until it transitions into a lovely piano solo and slowly adds other tunes again while still keeping the piano in the foreground until the beat takes over once again and builds up until it eclipses in the chorus and without any exaggeration as I heard the drop for the first time it nearly blew me out of my chair with its 220% awesomeness. After this banger of a chorus the beat calms down again only to after some time build up again to once more transition into this banger of a chorus. But wait there’s more! Proto_ssin makes you think the track is over but once more the piano picks up with a simple tune and slowly the beat return and brings us one more amazing chorus.

Vyprae – Never Forget You | Glitch-Hop

Today we’ve got a shipping song from the lovely Vyprae. This song starts out with an already amazing eat that slowly adds more stuff to make it feel like the masterpiece it is. It later adds a lovely drum loop and builds up to a drop honestly made in heaven, with sweet vocal chops and the beat taken over by it this makes you wanna jump up and down until you’re parents complain you woke them up. After that the first beat takes over again this time adding even more awesome stuff. Shortly thereafter we once more get this lovely drop with all the vocal chops. Without any exaggeration this is the best OMFG style track I’ve ever seen.

Note: Since the original video got deleted, you may find the MP3 file of the song here.

FelonOnBass – Protest | Bass/Electro House

Today we’ve got ourselves an amazing track by FelonOnBass. This track starts out simple but quickly starts adding new tunes and building up slowly until it eclipses in a way that blew me out of my chair as I was listening to it for the first time, but wait there’s more! The drop never comes down again it just continues and builds up until it comes to another drop and maybe one of the best house beats I’ve ever heard. After that and also massive amounts of jumping on my part the beat sorta calms down, it’s calmer then before but still in this state of absolute house amazingness and just as you caught your breath from all the throwing down the utterly amazing second drop happens again and the song slowly ends.

RedWire – TriFecta | Breakbeat

Today we’ve got ourselves this great track from the talented RedWire. The track starts out with an amazing beat and some birds but quickly more joins in and you realize that this isn’t your run-of-the-mill Breakbeat track. And oh my Celestia the chord progression around the thirty second mark, if you look up amazingly awesome cord progression in the dictionary that is what you get! Then, suddenly the beat changes to a more futuristic sounding beat with some industrial sounding samples accompanying it, the beat goes on like this for some time until a slightly different tune takes over for some time until it changes once again giving the whole song a really lively feel in the end a piano is heard accompanying the final part of this song.

FrøstFyre – Let’s Rave | Trance

Today we’ve got ourselves a amazing Trance track by FrøstFyre. The song starts out upbeat and happy and slowly builds up only to become slower and build up again until it eclipses in a truly bob worthy tune supported by voice samples and the song never calms down again from this point on you should watch your bobbing or else you might throw off your headphones. Later the beat builds up again until the song reaches its apex in one of the best beats I’ve ever heard. This song easily qualifies as one of the best of it’s kind and with the variation of different background tunes it also has a great progression and I can only recommend this song to everyone no matter if you like Trance or not.

RedSpark – Alicornia | Orchestral

Today we have “Alicornia” the sixth movement of RedSpark’s “A Tale of Starlight” Symphonic Poem. The song starts out with some lovely strings which create a really mysterious feeling and last for some time as if you were walking through Alicornia yourself and then it stops. Silence reigns for a second that feels like an eternity, then you hear the song really blowing up as you see the whole beauty of Alicornia. After that the song calms down again and shortly thereafter the song adds some more epic tunes which really give the whole song an amazing progression. I could sit here all day telling you about how amazing this is but I’m going to keep this short by saying: RedSpark’s stuff is on par with Jyc Row.

SmD House – Full of Hope | House

Today we’ve got ourselves an amazing house track by SmD House. This track starts out rather simple with just one old-timey sounding beat, but quickly more stuff joins in and you realize that this is not your run-of-the-mill house track, the song goes through a bunch of different beats and this makes the song seem very lively. Also around the halfway point the song goes back to being very simple and here I should maybe mention that if I say a songs is being simple and only is a single beat sometimes. I don’t mean this as a criticism, I mean it as a compliment since not very much beats can make a great track on their own. Overall this song is rather calm and therefore perfect to just chill out for some time or as a background song for doing work.

Red Spark – General Solis | Orchestral

Today we’ve got ourselves something rare everypony: this stellar track from Red Spark and even though personally I prefer EDM over everything else (who would have guessed) I have a sweet spot for orchestral tracks, this one in particular. The track starts out with dark drums and which slowly transitions into strings and goes from the dark and sinister tone more to a dark and epic tone and builds on this theme by adding more instruments only to once more switch to only strings which in my opinion really sells the theme and the track pretty much stays with this notion of epicness until it slowly starts fading out. I know I fanboy a lot over EDM in my articles but this song really is extraordinary no matter if you like orchestral or not.
