Lectro Dub returns with an amazing experimental rock track with classic elements mixed with modern elements! The classic rock elements on the guitar riffs and in some synths looking like one of that really awesome and psychedelic Pink Floyd experimental albums! The modern rock elements on the mechanical drumming and some really Nine Inch Nails look like synths, reminding me of Classic Industrial Rock mixed with Funk Rock elements (the guitar riffs mixed with the bass line) and Psychedelia! Really headbanging and nostalgic experiment! Lectro Dub did really an awesome job on this!

Chang31ing returns with an unexpected remix of the Complextro song done by iblank2apples and R3CTIFIER for P@D:Guardians – Phoenix.
This remix has some really genre changes, in the first drop we can feel a lot of Hard Dance with Complextro elements part and in the second drop we have some Future with Complextro elements part! I really love how Chang31ing makes the genre changes/mixes in this remix! The form that he manages to adapt the song to his image is my favorite part, we some really nice drums and synths done by him plus samples from the original! The original artists should be proud of it! Chang31ing did an awesome job! Check out the remix!
TPressleyJ – The Dawn of Boi | Trap
Sampling a funny and memey video done by UndreamedPanic, Flittzy and GROskAr about a love story between NeverLastStanding and Ponies At (What in tarnation, this is really weird and funnie), TPressleyJ delivers a mechanical and wild Trap track with a lot of classic Trap elements such the Lex Lugers up and the hey, hey hey with big 808’s and really trippy drops! TPressleyJ surprised me with this track, finally I could dance to a meme track!? (I don’t know, TPressleyJ did really a remix of a P@D meme xD). So yes, The Dawn of Boi, good drops, good sampling work, good synths and drum work. Wild, aggressive and mechanical feelings that this track gave me. Just listen to it, first listen to the story and then listen to the remix for better understanding of context and memes. Just listen!
Inkwel – Angel | Future Bass
Our friend Inkwel keeps surprising me with amazing Future Bass tracks about the Main 6 pets! And we really needed another Angel Bunny track! The drops in the track are on perfection! With a Brostep feeling mixed with the uplifting feeling of Future Bass! The leads before the drops are also well performed, with some really cool and minimal drums and with amazing synths, this leads are really amazing! Some synths have that retro feeling of a 80’s videogame! One of the most amazing tracks done by Inkwel and one of my favorites by Inkwel! Keep up the good work!
StealingShad3z – New Beginnings (The Tower Pt. 2) | Indie Rock
The continuation of When The Tower Is Quiet, Shad3z delivers and atmospheric and emotional Post-Punk track about Lil Pip and the theme of Fallout: Equestria! I really love this theme!
The drums are so clean, that reminds me of some Midwest Emo acts (Emo bands that use Indie Rock/Post-Punk elements) such as Jimmy Eats World, The Get Up Kids, Cap N’ Jazz and Brand New! The guitar riffs/solo along with the bassline are really awesome and that’s what gives to the song the atmospheric feeling!
The lyrics are well written, some really meaningful themes to what I’ve expecting from the instrumental feeling, sung by the powerful vocals of Shad3z, the song has a great vocal harmony, reminding me of some Post-Punk Revival acts such as Bloc Party, Interpol or even The National! It’s Punk with an emotional feeling on the lyrics and the instrumental, and it’s Indie with the “Midwest Emo” feeling and the Shoegazing riffing in some guitar riffs!
Cleary this is one of my favorite songs written and performed by Shad3z! Keep up the good work my friend!
Swagberg – Pony Swag (feat. Maros) (Drixale Remix) | Moombahton / Trap / Hip-Hop
Drixale returns with his hot and exotic beats, with a remix of the Brony Hip Hop classic – Pony Swag. The drum beats are one of my favorite parts and the vocal preparation with the Rainbow Dash Oh My Gosh samples is also pretty good! The breakdown, the transition from the Moombahton part to a Trap Rap part and the transition to the Moombahton again is one of my favorite parts of the song! And the end with the My Little Pony theme song with the Moombahton / Reggaeton beat in a lo-fi mode was really clever! The mixing, the synth work, the vocal preparation, all pretty good! One of my favorite Drixale remixes! Keep up the good work! Aah, what a nostalgia that Drixale brought us today!
eksoka – Being Natural | Progressive House / Trance
Inspired by Discordant Harmony, eksoka made a really uplifting, emotional and danceable Progressive House track with some Trance elements! The vocal chops of Fluttershy are really well made and I loved the synth work. The drums with the synth make a really awesome harmony, plus the vocal chops! The song is atmospheric and uplifting! If you are feeling down, listen to this song and dance! At least, for me, listening to some really awesome music makes me happy!
SimGretina – Where The Rich Ponies Go (AWal Remix) | UK Hardcore
First debut on his set at BronyCAN 2017, AWal made an awesome remix of one of my favorite SimGretina tracks! The first part of the remix with that aggressive, but yet happy synths mixed with the drum beats are really good, then the Hardcore part comes in, the distorted kick used in the track is really amazing, and the cymbal/distorted kick relationship is also pretty good! The vocal sampling and processing is also really well made. One of my favorite parts of this remix, is the aggressive, uplifting and happy synth that with the distorted kick makes a really good harmony, then the chords used makes the song even more uplifting! With some really Happy Hardcore vibes and with the build up and the synths of UK Hardcore, genre that AWal mostly does DJ mixes at PonyvilleFM, this remix is worth not to check once, but to check a lot of times and dance to it!
Dj Shadow Music – Overdose of Apples | Deep House / Psytrance
Inspired by the APPLE.MOV video of the series PONY.MOV done by hotdiggedydemon, Dj Shadow Music releases a really trippy and psychedelic track, probably that can describes the feelings of applejack when she had that really big Overdose. The sampling work is really good, and the instrumental is really well performed. Also the visuals of the video are really well done also. If you want to have a good time dancing, this is the song, turn up the volume and jam to this!
Segments Of Life – Cube | Trancecore / Hybrid Trap
Segments of Life is one that projects that always surprise me, because of the genres that the project brings, this case, Trancecore. Trancecore is a really rare genre on brony fandom, probably you may have hear some Melodic Metalcore with Trance influences on some PrinceWhateverer or Sable Symphony songs. But Segments of Life is a different way of using the Trancecore elements, in Segments’ songs we have more Trance elements that Melodic Metalcore ones, so that’s why I say that Trancecore is a rare genre in brony fandom.
After this introduction, let’s talk about the song, Cube has really amazing guitar riffs, look like some really Djenty or Progressive Metalcore guitar riff. The symphonic pads used are also really atmospheric and give to the song an ethereal aspect. The synths and the drums joint the song and make the song really awesome. And then that Hybrid Trap drop at the end it’s really amazing, I felt chills when I first listened to it! Really amazing mixing of genres.
This song and more other 7 are featured in Segments’ newest album, The Vivid Dream, where the main genre is Trancecore, but it’s mixed with a lot of genres. (Segments even created a track called Don’t Care About Genres.) All the 8 songs are available on youtube or you can listen to the whole thing on bandcamp.
