EveryDayDashie’s back at it again with his take on hardstyle with a song that’s bound to make you bounce (EDIT: apparently this style is called “hard house”). Taking inspiration from the official MLP podcast (side note – did you know there’s an official MLP podcast? I didn’t!) this is a great uptempo and fast-paced song to dance your hooves off to. Great melodies and supersaws build up to a drop with a fun triplet feel to make the whole song bounce a little bit more.

Top 10 Brony Songs of November 2022
November’s community top 10 is here! Apparently a record number of songs (from stats this year) were in the running this time around. There’s even one or two in here that I hadn’t heard myself!
It’s P@D Day: Album Party, Pre-releases and More!
Once again, the team at Ponies at Dawn have arranged a day of festivities to mark the release of the collective’s latest album: Wanderlust. As shown in the schedule above, the party kicks off at 3pm Eastern with an hour-long DJ set each from Thunder_Kick and Keitus before the mane event – the album showcase presented by Lycan Dese Beats – at 5pm Eastern. Join in for 7 hours of brand new tunes before Bolt and Rock Fox start the afterparty with their own DJ sets. The whole thing is being broadcast live on Ponyville FM and there’s a party happening on the Pony Town event server too!

It’s fair to say Nugget’s orchestral pieces are more subdued than his metal music but it still paints a picture. The darkness of the winter days is reflected in the unusual scales the lead instruments follow and waltz rhythm gives a regal feel, fitting of any gala.

❗❗❗ New artist alert 🔔🔔 This right here is rawrity’s debut – a chill hyperpop song featuring sound bandit all about the importance of community within the fandom. It’s got a sort of comforting nostalgia about it, even though it’s in a very modern style. I’m definitely looking forward to hearing more from rawrity!
Skyshard – Her Adventure Begins | Epic Orchestral
Considering that this comes from a collection of songs telling a story about heroes, this song from Skyshard has a very fitting style and soundscape! Taken from their most recent album, Tiny Sky, it certainly sounds like the introduction to an epic tale. There’s a great use of a recurring motif and a nice bit of modal interchange that I personally always love to hear in music.

Every day we’re dashin’! Back again with a so-called “Chinese hardstyle” track, EveryDayDashie has created something that blends a slightly softer kind of hardstyle with sounds of traditional Chinese instruments and melodies. They imagine how life in an Equestrian city might be, and how it compares to their own experience. You should check this out even if, like me, you’re not typically a fan of hardstyle – it’s much more melodic than you might expect!
