Moonglow is a wonderfully gentle piece that closes out Equinity’s recent 06 compilation album; “Expedition”. It sends a chill through you and perfectly encapsulates that chilly calm of the night with some incredibly powerful strings padding out the soundscape that weave and float along the emotive piano trills and runs. It really gives you that sense of the world quieting down. Another fun note is how the song title is named after a jungle bound flower in Terraria and games like that are what immediately come to mind upon hearing this piece and in my opinion, really makes this an apt story to end this chapter out!

4everfreebrony – Mail It In (covering The Wasteland Wailers) | Rock
We all know that 4everfreebrony can sing pretty songs of love, but today he is using Equestria’s Postal Service for his message with his own spin on The Wasteland Wailer’s “Mail It In”. While the song is a bit more rocking than the original, especially with fantastic solo in the middle, it still retains that sweet melody and lyrics about Derpy. All this is rounded off by a cutely animated video, so not only give the song a listen, but also the music video a watch!
[Equinity] Skyshard – Return to the Garden (Remember Who You Are) | Epic Orchestral
Here’s another offering from the recent Equinity album! This grandiose orchestral piece from Skyshard wastes no time establishing a Celtic feel, which pairs very nicely with the background image. You’re transported (back) to this otherworldly garden in this sequel to one of their previous songs.
PumpkinZ – Colors | Hyperpop
PumpkinZ is dipping their toes into the world of hyperpop with this track from their upcoming Colours EP. Blending in elements of future bass too, this song keeps that lovely upbeat feel that both genres convey well, with some lovely epiano melodies filling in the quieter sections that build up to clean, smooth drops.
Evershade – A Thousand Likes (feat. Namii) | Pop
Pop Girl Summer isn’t over yet, so there’s still time to enjoy this upbeat bop from a power pop duo! Evershade’s fun and breezy approach to pop music is a great match for Namii’s guest vocals on this song about being the most glamorous pony at the poolside. Grab a drink, take a listen and imagine yourself living the high life with Pipp Petals.
[Equinity] sleepy eyes – Back To Equestria | Hands Up
Number six on Equinity’s expedition album, Sleepy eye’s “Back to Equestria” is a short but suave bop featuring a lovely array of different sections. It opens with orchestral-like synth design, quickly building up with arpeggios and spoken word hyping the return of the elements, leading right into the drop. The middle is met with brassier synths and Sweetie Belle chops, and towards the end, there’s some really crunchy percussion for a great finishing touch!
Childlike Wonder feat. GreenyPika – Magic (covering The Living Tombstone) | Midtempo
Childlike Wonder has visited an old song from The Living Tombstone with from all the way back in 2012! Adding a fresh coat of paint and modernizing the mix while still nailing the classic style and feel of the original with the familiar upbeat melody and catchy vocals and an updated refined feel to the plucky synths and rolling basslines. Its quite interesting to bounce between both this cover and the original to see just how its evolved after over a decade. So don’t just give this one a listen I encourage you to go back and listen to the original as well; conveniently linked within the description!
[Equinity] Yashn – Lost in the Everfree | Orchestral
Featured in Equinity 06, Yashn has constructed a wonderfully dark orchestration here. Opening on tense strings and an ominous whisper of textures this song is episodic in nature going from navigating the mysterious eerie lands to sudden full blown chase sequences with frantic movements and a wide array of instrumentation without being overcrowded! Don’t get lost after dark, and do not trust the shadows.
Vylet Pony – i don’t know how to tell you that you’re my best friend (and that i love you) | Pop
Vylet knocks it out once again with a very emotional mouthful of a song! Opening with a myriad of stellar stereo cacophony and heartwarming vocals the stage is not only set as something great it gets raised even higher with the ever changing energy and vibe this song plays out in what feels like different acts that grab your attention and refuse to let go! ‘tell you’, in short; A truly wonderful piece that goes by in a flash but leaves a lasting impression.
Japkozjad & Acid Applejack – Dreamland | Happy Hardcore
Japkozjad and Acid Applejack have teamed up for one hell of a banger! Happy Hardcore is a very colourful genre and they use that to their full advantage! Featuring a beautiful arrangement for the verses, the melody will get stuck in your head right from the get-go with a fun piano arrangement before the synths take over with full force! The verse is enough to get you hyped but mix of a melodic and drum build ups raises the excitement through the roof before the drop kicks you out your chair! The drop features a lot of fun elements, most notably some very audible hi-hats that bring a really nice flow into the whole track, and then there’s the kicks, the kicks are probably not what you’d expect from a Happy Hardcore track! While usually you’d expect the kick to take full center stage, in this track the kick actually does not do that, interestingly enough it gives a lot of space for the melody to really shine and show off, and the kick is no classic kick either, it’s a light and refreshing sound, almost sounding like a laser kick! This track is pretty much the definition of upbeat Happy Hardcore so definitely give it several good listens!
