SCR4TCHK4T – Thirteen Moons | House
A smooth danceable and bopable track for librarian listeners and fans of Twilight Sparkle. Being as a fitting theme for her, plays a cheerful and ear candy melody with smooth transitions from beginning to end. Speaking of melodies, you can catch this along with more pony themed songs in SCR4TCHK4T’s album “Melodies of Equestria“, various songs with individual themes and music genres of various ponies and characters, recommendable album to breakdance with your friends.
[P@D] General Mumble – High Horse | Reggae/Rock
As Monty Python once said, “now for something completely different!” This song perfectly speaks about Tree Hugger’s vibes of peace and inner chakras, and it’s not something you often hear in the brony music scene. Mumble, the ever-surprising musician he still is, manages to bring something fresh to P@D: Zenith. The merging of reggae with 80’s style rock is far out and rad. Mumble’s vocals bleed style and flare, drawing your mood into this relaxation bliss. General Mumble shows why he lasted so long in this music scene by reinventing himself with music such as this! As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
[P@D] Paloris – New Day (feat. Caedon Hawk) | Chill House
In the first season of Friendship is Magic, Princess Celestia told Twilight Sparkle there was more to their world than what she saw in books. Over time in that first season, Twilight saw what exactly the Duo of Paloris and Caedon Hawk created here for P@D: Zenith. Caedon Hawk’s wonderous vocals share a valuable message that often unnoticed beauty exists around us. Twilight discovered this once she started her friendship lessons. Paloris’s melodies feed that curiously or as told by them. “Get out and touch some grass and feel the world around you, smell the roses, feel the nature around you, feel alive”. As always, this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.
The Wilders – It’s the Pony Hip-hop (EveryDayDashie remix) | Electro House
I still haven’t seen any G5 stuff since the movie, but songs like this might just convince me to get round to checking it out! EveryDayDashie’s remix of It’s the Pony Hip-Hop puts a dancefloor-filling spin on this song from Tell Your Tale. The use of lots of effects on the vocals are a great little touch too!
Koa – forget me not | Piano Ballad
The final track from Koa’s 2021 album, In Your Eyes, takes a lovely little turn from the more upbeat and danceable songs that precede it. Stripped back of all instrumentation but a piano, Koa’s vocals really get a chance to shine here, in terms of both her singing and songwriting. She presents a bittersweet story of forgotten friendships, but hints a hopeful resolution – that maybe sometimes we can pick up where we left off…
P1K – Melody on my Heartstrings (10th Anniversary) | Pop Punk
How great is it to see a 10 year anniversary remastered track for a fandom classic? If P1K’s surprise update of Melody on my Heartstrings is any indication, then it’s the best! Working around the iconic starting bassline, P1K uses full, distorted guitars and brilliant vocal harmonies to declare his love for the pony who plays the music in his heart.
SCR4TCHK4T – Bound for Everfree (Unofficial EFNW 2022 Anthem) | House
4everfreebrony – The Finest Creatures Ever (feat. Brittney Ackerman) [Covering Aphylliate] | Pirate Metal
Koa – Supercut (You Don’t Know What I Did Last Night) | Pop
Well, Koa never fails to please but her album “In Your Eyes” definitely knocks it out of the park! And today I’ll tell you just a little bit about Supercut, but let’s start from the top: The song kicks straight off with Koa’s amazing vocals before the upbeat instrumental kicks in, mainly featuring a hypnotizing beat and a catching acoustic guitar that’ll get stuck in your head! Both vocals and instrumental get their own times to shine and overall this song makes you wish it was a lot longer! The lyrics creatively cover the kind of people who spend their time spreading lies and half truths for their entertainment, and indeed sometimes people only see a supercut of who we really are.
