After a long hiatus, Remember Falling has returned with her first track since April, The Sun is Dark. This one in particular is a piece from her upcoming album Dawn Into Dusk, and the emotion felt in this song is palpable. From both the vocals with lyrical themes of recovery and longing to be found to the hybrid orchestral backing which starts off slowly before picking up and then climaxing with a big boost in tempo towards the end, this number is a great example of what RF is capable of. Dawn Into Dusk might also be coming out before this year ends, so keep an eye out!
[P@D] Totalspark – You (feat. Namii) | Garage
Nearing the tail end of Ponies at Dawn: Eternal with track 69 is a collab between Totalspark and Namii. It’s a beautiful garage song with plenty of atmosphere, all brought together with heavy reverb, soft piano chords and a duet between the two musicians. Both of their voices fit the song perfectly while being backed by a subtle drum beat which acts as a great supplement to the rest of the track, also making a great fit in the very last segment of the album, bringing it all down to a gentle simmer.
Dizzy Inmotion – Miss Shimmer | Hip-Hop
The continuation to the story of Dizzy’s concept album, this musical part happening after the previous skit is enacting Sunset’s inner battle with the darkness in her! Epic lyrics and vocals of much conviction are playing the struggle so well, and a lot more depth just got added as the excitement for what will happen next is reaching its climax!
Paloris – Hope (Tw3Lv3 Remix) | Liquid Drum & Bass
Comforting melodies and an uplifting rhythm are depicting the view once you’re up there flying with Dashie, in musical form courtesy of Tw3Lv3 who remixed Paloris’ original and reflected Scootaloo’s Hope of flying! We sure love these “sisters” and what they do together! Thank you Tw3Lv3 for such a heavenly remix!
Daniel Ingram – Hearts as Strong as Horses (Paloris Remix) | Progressive House
A bright and reflective remix in Progressive House style, Paloris’ tribute to Hearts as Strong as Horses brings forth the cherished CMC vocals along punchy beats and uplifting synth melodies, and makes for a blissful experience along the crusaders!
TCB & loophoof – Part of Your Day | Future House
TCB and loophoof teamed up for a very lovely joint tribute to Yona, and the events of S09E07 She’s All Yak! This complete version of Part of Your Day is expressing so much love and passion with the gorgeous vocal chops and even the sampling of dialog lines from the episode, showing much support toward Yona and Sandbar, and re-enacting the wonderful moral of the episode! Also seen on Cider Party!
Nyancat380 – The Crunch | Glitch-Hop
Nyancat380’s musical creations are always so tasty, and along Rainbow Dash coolness, it’s time to jam to epic guitars, mad wubs, and chiptune greatness! A hard-hitting, blissful, and wonky tune all at the same time! Dash approves and you can hear it in the track!
4everfreebrony – Someone Like Me (covering Aviators) | Soft Rock
4everfreebrony returns, this time with a brilliant cover of Aviators‘ classic track Someone Like Me! 4efb’s take on the original feels just as emotional, though with a more guitar-driven backing; it sounds like a band playing live in a studio. It’s hard to go wrong with his covers, and this one’s a good example as to why.
[P@D] VooDoo – Vibez | Glitch-Hop
Introduce a new and lively Glitch-Hop track by Voodoo into your rotation! Its two extremely complex, exuberant drops suit it for the floor. This glitchy Ponies At Dawn release has sound design so clean, you could eat your dinner off of it. And don’t forget about the dubiously altered vocal lines from the show. The song concludes with an elegant piano segment, a fittingly lush end to such an enlivening song.
[P@D] Zizkil – I Miss When You Loved Me | Complextro
Zizkil’s productions are always full of some super cool sound design and here that’s no different, with his new tune from Eternal. There’s a really interesting combination between crunchy sound design and some more soft and delicate moments in the track driven by piano, as well as some very interesting synthesised vocals taken from the iconic show song ‘Luna’s Future’.
