Makaryo has been on fire for the last year or so – creating incredible animations and dipping their toe into music production as well! This track features an anguishing Misty looking for approval and singing her desired for autonomy. Utilizing smooth, clean guitars and a simple drum kit, Makaryo achieves an intimate, indie rock feel that encapsulates the somber, emotional tones of the track.
EveryDayDashie – Aloha Equestria | Chillout
Grab your sunscreen – we’re heading to Hawaii next in EveryDayDashie’s musical world tour! This soundtrack-like piece just creates a nice, mellow backing track to accompany your sunbathing, featuring the sounds of a lap steel guitar and Dashie’s own ukulele playing. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go find my sunglasses…
ALostCarolean – All Hail The Queen | Darksynth
Need some dark, industrial-sounding synthwave but also enjoy classical pieces with multiple movements? ALostCarolean might just have you covered here with this 8-and-a-half-minute composition inspired by the bug queen herself. Grinding bass and floating lead synths pair together to make something that’s both atmospherically spooky and in-your-face scary.
Saphire Systrine – Polaris’ Goodbye | Ambient
Supplementing a short story set in a dystopian future, Saphire Systrine takes you away on a journey there. Perfectly capturing the mystery of the setting, the music introduces you to a world of mystery. Especially once the synth hits, the song will draw you in completely. Augmented by a thrill inducing music video, you will experience both a gripping and action-packed ride, so make sure to give it a listen!
Equinity 06: Expedition release party happening today!

Equnity are back! For the first time in nearly 2 years this collective has rounded up a collection of new songs to release on a 42-track compilation album. And what’s a compilation album release without a livestream party to go with it? From 9pm CEST (3pm Eastern) go to the Pony Town events server to join Greyfade and the Equinity team and artists in listening to the new tunes before the album gets its official release.
And if you want your own copy as soon as it drops, the album is available for pre-order on Equinity’s Bandcamp (or you could just even check out the tracklist!)

Nyanakaru – Oneiromancy (RR64 Hardcore Remix) | Hardcore
RR64 decided to take a swing at remixing Nyanakaru’s Oneiromancy, taking an already upbeat and angst-y song and making it even faster and gnarlier in the hardcore style. The piano’s melody is quite frantic and the vocals are met with extra distortion and crunch, turning Sweetie Belle’s vocal line into more of a Squeaky Belle. Mid song, the synth riser swells to the drop and the listener is hit by the slam of the bass coming in on every beat. Many of the bass stabs and percussion hits are directly traceable to the original, but they are recombined here in a way that makes them sound as fresh as ever. Nicely done!
[P@D] PSFMer – Present Future | Drumfunk
I think it’s been a while since we posted something from Wanderlust! PSFMer has, once again, explored a more niche electronic subgenre; this time he for us some drumfunk, a type of drum & bass music that tends to highlight the complexity and nuance of sampled classic funk drum grooves. This beat only needs a relatively sparse arrangement on top of it to sound complete, and when paired with solemn spoken word from Twilight creates a wonderfully atmospheric vibe!
EveryDayDashie – Pipp Petals | Pop
she’s smol
Dashie continues their relentless train of music releases with this poptastic danceable song about the littlest G5 pony princess! As one commenter noted, it definitely has a kinda dancercise feel about it; just imagine Pipp leading you in a group session as you shake your tail along to this beat.
Thrack – Revenge Acoustic (Feat. Canto Acrylic) | Acoustic
An acoustic version of a song is a great way to put a different spin on a song, and why not get a friend involved too while you’re at it? Here Thrack employs the talents of Canto Acrylic to make an unplugged cover of his most popular song, calling back to their performance of it at HarmonyCon earlier this year. This version of Revenge sits in the same folky style that Thrack has made his own recently, and has some nice harmony in the chorus as the two singer duet.
