Inspired by “mlp and fighting scenes”, Panic made a new song house song filled with energetic sounds; the usual sort of thing you’d expect from him. Go check it out!
A Symphony of Two – A Strange & Isolate Place, Part 1 (The Moon) | Orchestral
A Symphony of Two seem to put out an oustanding brand new piece of orchestral music every week without fail. This track seems to be the first part of a story they’re telling though music, and I’m intrigued to see where the rest of said story will lead…
Horse Music Hotspot – June 2016

The June edition of the Horse Music Hotspot aired last night on PVFM and is now up for streaming and downloads! You can get it on YouTube, on SoundCloud, or on your favourite podcast app.
This month, Spectra takes over as host, looking back at the best songs from June (and very late May) from the brony fandom.
To listen in live, tune in to Ponyville FM at 10PM Eastern on the last Sunday of each month!
Embeds and tracklist are both available after the break
Flak – Walls | Electronic
If you’re all about that vocoded pony pop music, here’s an artist you’d do well to check out! Flak brings us a Luna themed vocal composition driven by a syncopated dance beat and bright melodies. Also some cool vocal chopping in there, heck yeah 🙂
Quicksilver – Sun N Moon | Pop Rock
Not slowing for even a second after just releasing an incredible seven track EP, Quicksilver is back with a pony parody of Katy Perry’s Hot N Cold featuring the celestial diarchs of Equestria. Check it out for some upbeat pop drums, bright guitar, and Quicksilver’s awesome vocals. YEAH!
In Memory of MelodicPony

On Friday 24th June, we learned from an article posted on Equestria Daily that MelodicPony, a well-recognised orchestral composer in the fandom, had passed away, reportedly from a stroke. Aged just 27, this Czech musician created pieces that garnered hundreds of thousands of views, and showed an incredible talent for composition. Today, we wanted to make a post in tribute to him and look at the music he left as his legacy; few in number they may be, but known by many and consisting of 2 years of productions. Continue reading for a look at each of his songs that he released.
Vylet Pony – Little Dreams (Silva Hound Remix) | Electronic
Lying somewhere between house and future bass is Silva’s take on Little Dreams for the deluxe version of Super Pony World. Songs that transcend or merge different genres are always interesting and Silva was on point with this remix, go check it out!
Reverbrony -Sky of Colors (feat. BriLizyT) | Soft Rock
Originally written 5 years ago, Reverbrony thought it appropriate to record and release it recently, following the events in Orlando earlier this month. A real meaning behind the lyrics, and an adorable ship make this song both cute and powerful, and Lizy’s vocals speak the message so strongly.
Vylet Pony – Victory in Canterlot | Glitch-Hop
Another track from Vylet’s new album, Super Pony World (we’ll have a post soon, it’s a big album), Victory in Canterlot lies somewhere between the realms of Glitch-Hop and Electro, incorporating elements from both. A fantastically produced song, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Vylet!
Archie – Chasing The Sunrise | Synthwave
I was rather surprised to find this in my sub box – Archie made a song that’s below 120bpm! Jokes aside, this synthwave track from Archie is filled to the brim with 80s influence, sexy saxophone, and just a hint of a e s t h e t i c (okay, I wasn’t done with the jokes).
