Today EveryDayDashie brings us a banging house tune as a bit of an anthem to the Newbie Artist Training Grounds event this year, and my god is it a banger! This track perfectly shows off the distinct sound electro house has always had, and the melody is sure to be stuck in your head for quite some time!

Equinity 06: Expedition | Compilation Album
In case you missed the release party at the end of last month, the compilation collective Equinity released their sixth album. Most of the 42 individual songs on this release are electronic, from house to dubstep to drum & bass, but there is the occasional rock or orchestral piece here and there. The artists featured this time around are also more diverse – some regular names make an appearance but there are also some new faces to add to the Equinity sonic universe.
All proceeds from Equinity’s albums also go to charity. For this album, the team have chosen to donate Hivos, an organization striving to bring gender equality, climate justice and several other important topics to attention especially in lesser developed areas of the world.
Expedition is available to download for any price from Equinity’s Bandcamp.
The Wilders – Show Me Your Pony Moves (Childlike Wonder Remix) | Synthpop
Childlike Wonder’s remix of “Show Me Your Pony Moves” is such a bop! It takes the original mix from Make Your Mark Chapter 4 and adds in an extra groovy bass line. The new snare is clean and crisp and there’s also some really nice whips in the high end. Towards the end, Wonder fills in an additional melodic line, really putting the synth in synth pop. The remix makes great use of the original material, and will have you dancing on your hooves for sure.
Rarity Vrymer Collective – Datacity (VIP) | Dubstep
RVC’s latest track is an insane, heavy handed, mix with samples taken from many sources and combines many styles of electronic music. The track begins with a high energy Pinkie Pie sample, joined by heavy percussion leading into a killer drop with tons of glitches and huge wubs. The energy doesn’t die down, quickly cycling through drop after drop, each with its own unique style. In the middle, there’s a calmer section with a lush, melodic synth before dropping back into the dubstep. Overall, the sound design is expertly crafted, placing samples in excellent spots, and is well mixed together. This one will keep you on your toes!
Daniel Ingram – Good Vibes (Ice Angel Remix) | Future Bounce
Ice Angel is back with a new remix from the Equestria Girls series, this time bringing us his spin on “Good Vibes”. Starting off with the lyrics we are familiar with from the show, they perfectly interlink with the bright and upbeat sound we’ve gotten to know from Ice Angel. And while the signature bouncy bass stays a bit silent at the start, the way the song builds up to its drops just makes them impact harder once they actually join in. All this combined transports a happy, summery feeling to the listener, so let yourself be engulfed and brightened up by the Good Vibes of this tune!
Post Crush – True Original (Memory Tale Remix) | Drum & Bass
It’s always a pleasure seeing new Equestria Girls remixes pop up, and this one is quite the banger! “True Original” feels like a song that often gets ignored in between all the bangers of the main Equestria Girls movies and the other Specials, but this remix really does it justice, elevating it to new hights with a fresh coat of DnB awesomeness! Definitely give it a listen and enjoy!
Vylet Pony – In A Rush (2023) | Synthpop
Vylet Pony present us with a 2023 VIP of her banger track “In A Rush” from 2017 with rerecorded and remastered instrumental and fire new lyrics! Like the old version this new version is focused around rushing away from all these bad feelings and finding a place to rush to, and this song really feels like a place we can all rush to and lose ourselves in the quick and upbeat beats and melodies and forget about everything for a while.
PrinceWhateverer, Deus, Blackened Blue & Tw3Lv3 – HYPA HYPA (Electric Callboy Parody) | Metalcore / Hardstyle
Well well well, where do I even start with this? This track has been stuck in my head for a while for several reasons: It’s a really fun parody with a perfect mix of singing and screaming vocals! And believe it or not, this metalcore track features some pretty fire hardstyle kicks! A combination that sounds absolutely random, but it works out perfectly! The kicks add a lovely bounce to what is already an amazing party track! Definitely give this one a listen yourself and enjoy!
Dijit – Spacefunk (ft. ThatMusicBrony) (PumpkinZ Remix) | Tech House
Today PumpkinZ brings us this bopping Tech House remix of Dijit’s “Spacefunk”, and by god is it funky! The entire track carries this constant bounce in its melody, which works well with the upbeat vocals by ThatMusicBrony. And especially the drop will really blow you away with a bouncing kick and intense bass! Definitely give this one a listen!
SpinScissor – One Greedy Dragon | Midtempo
SpinScissor’s latest track is based around Spike, with the lyrics expressing his regret about his actions during the episode “Secret of my Excess.” The track opens with flowing arpeggios and a simple, but seductive kick pattern. Throughout the track, Spin makes excellent use of vocals: at times, he pitch shifts them to be lower and distorted. In other places, they’re layered to make rich harmonies and form a gorgeous texture. The track ends by introducing some crazy synth action before dropping out to leave just the bass and some pads. Wonderful work!
