Direct Current is very good at making atmospheric music which brings in lots of different elements that all work together. It all sounds very atmospheric too, and this chill electronic track is no exception. It is, simply put, really pleasant to listen to.
Electronic
Cosmic Kingdoms – Night | Indie Dance
Cosmic Kingdoms, the Indie Dance duo from Seaddle, return with another track; this one is about Luna and comes complete with vocoding and vocal splicing. They’ve now written songs about Sunset Shimmer, Vinyl Scratch, and Luna, the 3 best characters 3 evidently interesting characters from the show! Go check it out for housey dance vibes.
Budzy – Emotions VIP | Liquid Drum & Bass
Budzy brings us here the VIP of the aptly named Emotions, which has definitely still that “emotional” feel after this new take with a faster pace! Let the melodies reach your soul and create that wonderful thing that is emotions… for music is magic!
うすうすベア – 11842739 | Breakcore
No, I don’t understand the title either, but apparently that’s up for listeners to guess! Inkling’s back with this alias bringing his usual game of experimental and non-mainstream electronic music. Go check it out for broken amen breaks!
Ataraxia – Dusk | Ambient
Got some cool ambiance here for you to vibe to courtesy of Ataraxia. The melodic wanderings of a piano tiptoe over rolling waves of ethereal pads to make for a simple yet engaging composition.
DJ RockinHoof – Endless Search | Dubstep
It’s already time for a new album from DJ RockinHoof! Titled Wubba Wub Wab, there’s definitely much dubstep to be expected in this one, along some different moods throughout the album, and uncommon samples such as Gummy’s philosophy in Endless Search here or the famous “boop” in Ultimate Boop. Head over to DJ RockinHoof’s YouTube channel to get a listen to the album or download them as a bunch from this online share courtesy of Xavi from the team!
Raging Rarity – Celestia’s Power (The Dark Side Remix) | Dubstep
We got a newbie here! And for a first ever remix and first ever dubstep song, this guy has done pretty well for himself. Go check this out and welcome The Dark Side into the fandom’s music scene!
Synth Pony – After Apocalypse | Chillout
Very atmospheric track from Synth Pony who has also gone back to remaster one of their works. Highlighted with a lovely, angelic choir, the track blends in orchestral elements with synth work over a steady beat to paint a solemn soundscape.
Nymira – Luna Did It | Electronic
Nymira’s been pretty busy in the last several months! Among their quickly growing body of works are some solid ideas that I think have a lot of potential, particularly on the more experimental side of things. This track nicely concludes with an uplifting house beat supporting a bright chord progression.
Facexplodie – Have Peace Again (Flustershy Remix) | Breakcore
Flustershy, AKA Cerulean Draw, AKA loophoof, seems to have a new alias for every track they release. Here we have a sort of Breakcore/IDM remix of Facexplodie’s 2013 track Have Peace Again. Go check it out for something that’s…a bit different.
