CAPT – HOPE | Happy Hardcore
CAPT is back with an uplifting Happy Hardcore song embodying Somnambula’s element and the newfound hope that he found in life! Yay for ponies empowering our lives and helping us! And by the sound of that end-of-description extra, more Somnambula songs are coming, YAY!!
Rubber – Loser (feat. Ditherer) | Hip Hop
A month off the cuff of releasing the Without Friends EP, Rubber and Ditherer have some bars for you. Loser feels all about depression, something I’m sure at least one of us have felt at some point in our lives. Lots of great wordplay about the fandom and show set to a chill beat!
Witch of Despair – Celestial Protectress | Drum & Bass
Witch of Despair hits the scene again with an ethereal track about Celestia entitled Celestial Protectress. I can just imagine that scene in Magical Mystery Cure where she leads Twilight down a path showing off some memories here! The harps, choir and synths all work with the drums to create a track that sounds peaceful while also remaining speedy. Takes a lot of work to do something this special!
[PinkE_PartE] – Disgusting | Alternate Electronic
Pure creepiness from the mind of Toothpaste. This track begins with just a bell drenched in reverb that plays a creepy melody before being joined by some low bass sounds and a strong brass. It then switches to a full on electronic track with crazy synths and rumbling low-end sounds. I love creepy songs that could fit well in horror soundtracks!
[P@D] GrazySmash & Ice Angel – Retribution (feat. N. Hollow) | Hybrid Trap

Lots of swearing in this one. If you’re a cool cat that knows how to handle all that, click READ MORE.
Continue reading[ETC] Payyn – Luna’s Experience with Ayahuasca | Breakcore
Track 6 from Luna’s Nightmare Society is Luna’s Experience with Ayahuasca from Payyn. A unique song and fitting of the scenario (go look up Ayahuasca if you’re not familiar), the erratic side of EDM really goes well here. It’s lightning fast, loud and littered with samples from numerous sources, including MLP. If you like aggressive music, this will be right up your alley.
Single Purpose – Nightmare Night | Neurofunk
Single Purpose has come out with something truly freaky. True to its name, Nightmare Night sets out to spook its listener with samples from the fearful Nightmare Moon and dark-sounding synth chords. Once we’re given time to breathe after the DnB-esque drop kicks in, a group of haunting organs and choirs permeate the air, as if to really drive home that she’s taken over and there’s nothing Equestria can do. Truly a haunting piece, this one!
[P@D] GrazySmash & MEQA – Hoof Shaker (MEQA VIP) | Drum & Bass
Another Hoof Shaker remix, this time as a part of Ponies At Dawn: Eclipse. In particular, it’s a VIP made by MEQA. While the original was a bouncy, hard-hitting banger, this rendition makes things more atmospheric and speedy. After a warbling intro with guitar harmonics in the background, things build up with a low, rumbling bass and metallic percussion, leading into a heavy, distorted drop that doesn’t back down. Different sounds for different moods!
Daniel Ingram – Midnight In Me (GeekBrony Remix) | Psytrance
Ready for 8 minutes of fun with Midnight Sparkle? I’ve said time and again that all the vocal performers you hear in G4 have voices that would work so well in EDM, and this track – a remix of Midnight in Me from Legend of Everfree is yet another shining example of it. As the song starts, there’s some light electronic elements that slowly become overshadowed by the voice of Twilight and some strong orchestral drum hits. Her voice absolutely soars over the instrumental for a while before the electronica takes over again. It slowly evolves into something psychedelic and fast-paced that’ll stick in your head for a while. Check out the last couple of minutes for that amazing rhythm change!
