Ponies That Yawn – JUXTAPOSITION DEFENDERS | Compilation Album | Multi-Genre

The collective that started parodying P@D since the finals of 2016 – Ponies That Yawn – released another album that parodies the newest P@D album: Guardians and also parodies the newest Pinkamena Party album: INCOHESIVE HORSE ADESIVE. The result is JUXTAPOSITION DEFENDERS.

This album is full of very good tunes and includes the NightVapor remix of an ExplodingPonyToast song done by EPT himself! Grab the album, it’s worth to listen!

The album is available as Name Your Price on a bandcamp near you!

Redstone Brony – Horizon | Progressive House

Another less-know artist – Redstone Brony – that released a very emotional and uplifting house track. The production and progression used on the song was perfect! The synth work was pretty good, I really loved the synth used in the drops. An uplifting and emotional track! It made me happy, so it should make you happy! Enjoy it!

Seventh Element – The 303 Has Been Doubled | Acid House

Ah, the TB-303! Such a lovely bass synthesizer. You kids might like Massive or Harmor or Sylenth, and while all those have their respective wonderful qualities, there’s something special about the 303. And Luna’s vocals fit just perfectly with the blips, beeps, and bloops. Truly a delightful song, especially for anyone feeling nostalgic for older synths.

The Midnight Musician – Hard As A Rock | Bass House / Progressive House

Another amazing tune from my Brazilian friend, The Midnight Musician! This bouncy and danceable house track about Maud Pie is what I really wanted after a long and hard day!

The synth work that Midnight used and the drops are very awesome and should be listened for a lot of times! I was seeing Midnight’s streams on youtube while he was producing some new tracks, and I must say: be prepared for more progressive house greatness!

Listen to this song, dance, get happy, listen again, dance again and get happy again. Repeat this procedure and you will be happy for infinite ages!

[P@D] Twiggy, Pandela & PVNK – We’ve Been Here a Long Time, Haven’t We?| Nu-Disco / Future House

From Ponies At Dawn latest album Guardians we have a wonderful collaboration work done by Twiggy (another Phoxi alias), Pandela and PVNK. The vocals, the samples and the white noise used in the final part, the bass line and the synth line, the drums. All was on the point. It reminds me of the latest songs that Calvin Harris did for his new album: Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.

You didn’t downloaded Guardians yet? Shame on you! Download it now or buy it if you want.

[LDB] NeoN – Worth (feat. Kozmos) | Tropical House

Not so much rap in the fandom nowadays compared to in the past, but there’s been some improvement on that front recently with a few new people coming to the fore a bit more! NeoN has teamed up with rapper Kozmos to produce a super cool tropical house tune with great vocals and nice synths.

[P@D] Faulty – Sunrise | Melodic House

Faulty hasn’t been around all that long, but he’s already produced some awesome tracks, and this is probably my favourite so far from him! Some of the best use of Applejack’s vocals I’ve heard combine with super happy synths and awesome melodies galore. Very much in the style of other artists such as John Kenza/Kadenza, this nonetheless stands out on its own thanks to the awesome stylistic choices throughout the track.

DJT & Rusyd Rosman – Breathing Space (Einarx Remix) | Hybrid Dubstep

Einarx releases a hard-hitting, melodic masterwork. It’s difficult to place this song in a box, because it has elements of dubstep, house, and trap. But there’s no question that it’s a fantastic song. Its immense drums and soft bells are amazing on their own, but paired with Rusyd’s vocals? It’s electrifying. Really looking forward to the EP!

[P@D] DJT & UndreamedPanic – Ragnarok | Bass House

DJT has been quite the genre chameleon recently, his style evolving to suit his collaborative partner, and this time is no different! UndreamedPanic is the fandom’s king of bass house and it totally shows here as in combination with DJT there is a whole heap of neat sound design on show. Featuring some lovely soft and well-textured breaks to give some contrast as well, this is otherwise quite the banger. Check it out below!

Silva Hound – Sound Of The Summer (feat. Nowaking & Lyde) | House

Another new track from Silva, this is his BronyCon track and features vocals from both Nowaking and Lyde. The vocals throughout are pretty awesome, and the summer-y way the track builds up is super fun too, before dropping into some future-influenced big room interspersed by some neat sound design. Check it out below the break!
