A wonderful and much inspired track brimming with Rarity’s charm, Sartoria is Eksoka’s musical response to those “Rarity’s Peek Behind the Boutique” animated shorts that aired during the ad breaks of some S7 episodes on Discovery Family. A stylish and very chic House arrangement is sublimated by beautiful and “fashionable” sounds, while the whole track is delightfully topped with hot vocal samples, including Rarity’s voice from the shorts, and makes for a very “Rarity” sensual experience.

WE GOT A DOUBLE WHAMMY HERE IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE. Not only does this mark the first pre-release of the upcoming Ponies At Dawn: Guardians album (to be released 23rd June with the usual release party), but I can finally say that Cider Party is back again! After a reshuffle in management, our Makenshi has taken the reigns as the new barkeep.

And then this collab is something I didn’t see coming at all. While Xavi is definitely already known for great future house, collaborating with DJT only makes it better. The resulting track is packed full of great sound design, with excellent percussion to supplement the drums and just a hint of vocal chops, the sprinkles on the cupcake of hors haus.

I’m off to prepare for P@D and think of more bad metaphors.

Brodub serves us an uplifting and joyful Progressive House tune full of subtle depth, conveying quite well a part of Starlight’s character depth and perhaps also reflecting the amount of determination and effort needed in order to face and overcome your past. A much enjoyable track indeed!

You might think it’s spoilers, but it’s not. Having made a strong fandom debut, Neon Lights is back at the house game again. I can’t quite tell what the particular influence is, but this track seems to be inspired by some fanon content (in particular Rain-Gear’s artwork). Decent sound design, nice mixing – it’s an all-round good show in my books.

Ertrii’s on a roll!! A third release and so soon, this one brings back what is probably the musician’s signature genre, a Progressive House full of mellow and emotional vibes over an amazing progression, this time with the addition of pony vocal chops that are just as wonderful and well-made as the instrumental. One More!

Getting fan songs about our favorite episodes is so great, and here’s a Parental Glideance-inspired Acid treat courtesy of Dynamite Grizzly! With a solid progression, mad beats, and enthralling synths all around, it is sure to bring some more post-rejoicing about the episode!

Summer is almost here, ponies! And to celebrate, here’s a fresh and tasty Tropical House track from 5uperNova, full of happy and sunny vibes. It makes you want to be on the yellow-sand beach of some tropical island, with a harem of ponies playing around you… Did I say harem? Oh, my apologies. Being among ponies sure would be a wonderful feeling, at any rate! Also do check out 5uperNova’s try at Experimental Ambient that was released at the same time, it came out pretty good and is very promising!
