YES! THIS GETS A YES FROM ME. One of the most unique tracks I’ve ever heard from a Ponies At Dawn album (this being from Voyager, not the upcoming Amity btw). It’s also great at bringing a load of different talents together – combining Amiss’ singing, Freest’s rapping, and a solo from SaxBrony, all brought together by Homage’s funky fresh production to create one of my favourites from Voyager, and from the entire P@D catalogue thus far.

What happens when a SGaP track, already full of emotion and depth, inspires a musician to make a track as a heartfelt tribute to that musical style, in turn inspiring another musician to make a remix of that tribute track, full of underlying feelings too? This right here is the result, and I can safely say that the magic has been tripled! Perfectly displaying one of our powers that is simply to cause others to move, this accumulation of experiences and reflection of emotions gives a wonderful new take to Direct Current’s {RD-TS}, now re-imagined in NeverLastStanding’s unique sensitivity and sound. Experience those pony vocal chops and Direct Current’s vocals along bright melodies and powerful beats in this remix that will shine eternal!
Vahts – Feeling Helpless | Synthwave
It’s time for a new release under Francis Vace’s alias for electronic music, Vahts, and this much welcome Synthwave track brings forward some amazing character depth from Applejack along emotional synths and a characteristic vocal style. Originality, awesome composition, blissful atmosphere, and underlying feelings, this song has got pretty much everything.
Strigidae – Butterfly Zyner (Remaster) | Indie Dance
Strigidae’s masterpiece, Butterfly Zyner, gets a much welcomed remaster in which we get to dive once more in unique and gorgeous vocals, mellow instrumental and tender backstory and lyrics, in a renewed experience of sound. Glim Glam is such a big cutie!
Ponies At Dawn – Voyager | Compilation Album | Multi-Genre
Here it is, what’s bound to be the best Ponies At Dawn album yet. With each new album comes both a new selection of artists as well as some of the great ones who have been around for a while – something that is in my opinion the best balance when compiling brony music.
The album is available completely for free on Bandcamp, or you pay whatever amount you wish for it. You can expect to see many of the songs from it posted on the site in the coming days and weeks!
Jastrian & Synthis – Ethereal (Metapony Remix) | Electronic
Y’know, I wouldn’t have expected this of all songs from the most recent Ponies At Dawn album (at time of writing) to be remixed, but Metapony did an excellent job on this. It starts off with a similar chilled vibe as the original had, but abruptly turns into bright supersaws and bass growls, progressing later into a slightly faster tempo and a more house-style beat with electro influences. It’s difficult to put a label on this, but that’s okay, it adds a bit more creativity to it!
Snail’s House – 恋するSpaceGirl (Vylet Remix & Adaptation) | Indie Dance
Well this is…different. Vylet has taken a song by Snail’s House, and both remixed it and added his own vocals to it relating to Twilight. You wouldn’t think it would work, but it does, and so well too!
Various Artists – JapanPonyParty! Vol.3 | Album | Multi-Genre
We completely missed this when it first released back in May, but thanks to someone sending it in to us, we’re able to share it with you today! This compilation album featuring artists from the Japanese fandom scene was released at Japan Ponycon in May earlier this year. It features some names you might recognise (e.g. Oodoratoo2, delfino), but also has a wide variety of other artists you may never have heard of, and a huge range of genres too! The above video contains previews of each track, and the album itself can be downloaded from JPP’s website for free!
Vylet Pony – Kingdom Finality | Electro
Another select piece from the music journey that is Super Pony World, this song shares sonic influence from both electro and indie dance / synthpop type tracks. If you haven’t already checked out Super Pony World, the amount of work put into it shows through the entire thing!
Archie – Chasing The Sunrise | Synthwave
I was rather surprised to find this in my sub box – Archie made a song that’s below 120bpm! Jokes aside, this synthwave track from Archie is filled to the brim with 80s influence, sexy saxophone, and just a hint of a e s t h e t i c (okay, I wasn’t done with the jokes).
