Sharing nostalgia and brony feelings, Djohn Mema’s collab with SlightlyAmiss is very reflective of what makes us special as a community, and you can just feel all the genuine love that has been poured into this track and its message. It feels like a warm hug to all the musicians mentioned, and all those lovely thoughts get marvelously expressed here with the upbeat guitar melodies and the emotional vocals. A masterpiece of emotion and music!

Blackened Blue – Who Am I? | Alternative Metal
For the first time, the outrageously talented Blackened Blue shows off his singing chops and crafts a kick-flank metal song about Yona’s struggles with identity and belonging. Blackened Blue’s guitar tone, drums, clean vocals, mixing, and, of course, screams are all on-point here, and this may be his catchiest song yet. I quite enjoy the bridge section’s vocal effects and guitar tones especially! Fans of metal music from the 2000s will be extremely pleased with this one.

Of all the things that exist in the fandom, this is one of them. Never one to shy away from the strange, Osoch memes on the old days and The Living Tombstone with this exceptional metal track. Using TLT’s remix as a base, the very talented guitarist layers an excellent metal instrumental over the classic hit. There’s a lot going on here and you just have to check it out for yourself to understand.

Sometimes you don’t need something grand to be badass. This is quite simply just some classic metal guitar work. This shows the point with Reverbrony just laying those sweet hard chords down. Music that makes you want to do something awesome. This is the kind of metal music I would throw a pair of headphones on and it relentlessly gets the job done. The kind of music that would play if the royal sisters were done playing games with their enemies.

Time for a new rocking collab, and when I say rocking it’s ROCKING! Djohn Mema teamed up with SlightlyAmiss and the result of the fusion of their musical inspirations is quite epic, providing a new theme song for SHED.MOV. Djohn’s magical guitar performance and SlightlyAmiss’ signature clean vocals are both making for much emotion, in this new collab of many wonders that is so addictive! Such a perfect job from the duo!
StableTwoStallion – Goth Pony | Industrial Gothic Metal
This new release from the bringer of pony Neue Deutsche Härte is extra dark, with a certain layer of black shade from our beloved goth ponies! Achieving untold levels of darkness and goth-like lament, the track pays much tribute to the ponies and brings that spirit for us to celebrate again along a bittersweet yet energetic instrumental of many dark wonders, and vocals as impressive as always from the musician!

A blissful and fresh new cover of the classic Hush Now Lullaby, that’s what you’re in for with Richentaker’s surprise! With a much rocking name (Rickenbacker reference much), the talented musician shows the extent of his mastery while paying tribute to the beloved song, and it feels like the early days of the community again! Nostalgic and powerful for sure!

I’ve heard a lot of music made for our beloved princess of the night, but none has given me goosebumps quite like this. Thrasher, Velvet R. Wings, and SDreamExplorerS collab their past works to make this into a Symphonic Metal track on P@D. Yes, all its melodies and genres sound just right together. The tells the story of Princess Luna’s work in the dream realm. Velvet’s adapted vocals make you swear it is luna singing this harmony right too you. The message that she is your protector in your dream’s and not to forget that. I really like the lyrics. It really does talk about Luna’s work protecting her subjects from the horror’s of nightmare’s. The hard and symphonic metal guitars, help drive home the fact that Princess Luna is a hero to the ponies she protects. A metalhead like myself gives this song high praise.
StableTwoStallion – Ember | Industrial Gothic Metal / Neue Deutsche Härte
StableTwoStallion did it again!! Once again inspired by such popular Neue Deutsche Härte music, the talented musician paid tribute to Ember this time, the assertive side of her character fitting so well to the aggressive guitar riffs! And the vocals are just incredible and so perfect for the genre and musical inspirations! A huge success once again!
Reverbrony – Kicking Names, Taking Ass | Metal
Reverbrony comes back with a tune that’s extremely fun to jam to! Compositionally, there’s not too much here, as Reverb describes, it’s just a fun song with some awesome riffs. Not to mention, the percussion on here is incredibly unique for a metal jam and mixed superbly. However, of course, the stars of the show are the various riffs. They all seem to end exactly when they’re supposed to, showcasing a great ability in building anticipation and surprise. Cut this one on if you’re on a high speed drive or just feeling great about yourself!
