Frozen Night’s orchestral works are easily some of my favourite in the fandom, and I especially enjoy it when he branches out into interesting directions with it. That’s exactly what’s been done here, with some lovely use of eastern-influenced sounds to create a bit of a different atmosphere to his usual works. The second half of the track is a little more conventional, but is suitably epic as it rises to a fantastic crescendo.
This treasure of a track written for the new Ponies at Dawn album is a showcase of Crusader!’s talent and expertise in multiple styles of rock music. Perfectly capturing the theme of MLP, Home is Where Your Friends Are describes how those closest to us are what brings us out of our troubles and hard times. Starting out soft and only acoustic, the track builds through a synth-infused poppy bridge that leads into an uptempo, punky section interchanging seamlessly to convey the energy that our friends truly bring to us. Emotional, uplifting, and well-crafted, Crusader! offers a one-of-a-kind track that everyone can enjoy!
Taking inspiration from his two biggest inspirations, Equestria Electric Symphony Orchestra combines the music from the Lion King and gives it a loving, pony twist. You can really feel the passion in this recomposed piece, as EESO’s singing pays tribute to the timeless caring in the friendship of the show. It doesn’t take long listening to Love Is In Our Cutie Marks to be a at least a little bit touched by the emotion in the track!
It wouldn’t be a Ponies At Dawn album if Jyc Row didn’t shoot for the stars and blow everyone away in the process. Acting as a counterpart to their previous collab, Sun of the Night, this song explores the worshippers of Nightmare Moon in the alternate universe the songs are set in. Jyc’s orchestration and Felicia’s performance are both simply incredible, I don’t know what else to say about it!

This is my jam! Sweet Sax Music, a great R&B composition done by mikuma! A tune coming from the most recent P@D album Rebirth, that feature the rap talents of Melody Sky, MC-Arch and Acarcion and the gorgeous vocal talent of Namii! The chill/futuristic and almost lo-fi beat melts my heart, the lyrics and the verses are well written and performed (from what I’ve heard in the P@D stream every vocalist did their verse in a free theme). Namii vocals were soo good that they melted my heart, MC-Arch singing the lyrics with such emotion touched me too! And Acarcion, Melody Sky and Mylo the Kidd did some really awesome rap with awesome flow and awesome lyrical content! A true ギフトfor all!

The bar. It just got raised. This song alone is already incredible, but the fact that it’s AlicornAcension’s debut release? I don’t know how they managed to hide away all this time! Getting some new lounge / jazz in the fandom is also a huge plus; songs of this kind are so few and far between, but if time is the key to making something sounds as good as this, I’m happy to wait so it’s worth it. Welcome AlicornAcension, I’m really looking forward to more music from you!
An amazing track, full of happiness and good feelings! BroniKoni releases their debut album Friendship Express and by celebrating that, they release the title track from it! The mix of instruments is amazing, the pianos, the guitars, the flutes, the vocals, the basses! Then that guitar solo melts my heart, and the chorus is really funny and cute! An epic composition done by Lukas Vokrinek! Written about the “fight” between Starlight and Twilight, this piece has a great production value! I love how all the instruments were performed, we even can hear a guitar riff in the song that reminds me a bit of shoegazing style music! Keep up the good work Lukas!

The crew put a new, exciting beat consisting of bass, tambourine, and percussion under the original Atari track with crazy acoustic riffs, an organ, and even a balalaika for a truly one-of-a-kind instrumental!
Fresh off of his Nocturnal Harmonies album which is dedicated to helping raise funds for The Seapony Orchestra, Sonic.z.Hooves brings us this brilliant piano composition. With melodies reflecting the mystery and allure of the stars in the night, Reflection of Night creates the sensation of vastness of the galaxies that appear so vividly in the progression of the track.
