4everfreebrony – Smell The Roses | Acoustic Pop
A new song from the talented and genuine 4everfreebrony is always a big moment, and this new song is special in the way it conveys a very important positive message about life. Behind the soft guitar, gentle drums, moving piano and beautiful vocals, lies a powerful meaning about a simple truth that can hopefully remind to many how to find solace in a dark moment : just go to the nearest garden, smell a rose, and be happy in that present moment of appreciation. Incidentally, I listened to this song right after I was trying to cheer up a friend who was in depression, failing to see anything positive in this world anymore. So the line from the description “a song I wrote about remembering the beauty of our planet during hard and confusing times” was really striking at that moment. I’d wish people to feel content with life even while only having flowers to find happiness from. Living for a flower… for the beauty of Nature… yes, that sounds like quite a sufficient reason to live indeed! We may get blinded at times, but there’s always a new chance to get up and look at all the wonderful things around us in this life, and music is certainly one of them. Steely Hooves – Mare of Constant Sorrow | Acoustic / Folk
Yes, that’s a ponification of Man of Constant Sorrow. Yes I absolutely love that Steely’s done this. It’s a simple version, performed just with voice and acoustic guitar, like the version from the film O Brother, Where Art Thou? Keeping it simple sometimes works out for the best, and it certainly does so here.
New Reverian – Night Of The Willow | Orchestral

New Reverian makes a combination of orchestral and electronic tracks, and whilst some of their electronic stuff has been quite popular this track shows their orchestral works can be just as good! Luna is a popular source of inspiration for pieces such as this, and the heavy night-like tone of the track certainly fits her well. The woodwind and foley sounds back up some strong drums, piano and strings wonderfully, and overall this is a pretty neat track!
Silver Note – Fabulousity (feat. Sterling Fusion) | Pop Rock

Silver Note returns with a new track featuring some extra vocals from Sterling Fusion. Whilst this song isn’t especially long and some of the lyrics are a bit odd (‘makes me feel like an elephant??’), what is on show is a really well produced and fun pop rock track. The repetition of vocals in the chorus works really well, and it’s definitely pretty catchy.
Radiarc – 6pm | Orchestral
As part of an upcoming project, Radiarc released this “Animal Crossing style” track the other day. Said project will involve 24 “short simple themes for every hour of the day”, a concept similar to other I’ve heard before but none quite as extensive and detailed as this. This particular piece seems to mark a slight change of style from some of Radiarc’s recent works, and feels (for lack of a better word) ‘happier’.

The Wasteland Wailers – (Hey Hey) Ms. Rarity (Acoustic Version) [Ft. Yondy and Mike Williams] | Acoustic

The Wasteland Wailers over at Overmare Studios have released a new track! This time it’s a stripped down acoustic version of one of their previous pieces, Ms. Rarity. Featuring some really nice vocals from Yondy, and a really well performed bit of violin from Mike Williams as well as production from Haymaker, it’s definitely nice to hear an alternative version of this track. I think the acoustic nature of it really helps the vocals shine, and it’s definitely something worth checking out if you liked the original version!
Versal – Please Don’t Shoot Me Down (ft. Silver Note & Buffalo Brony) | Rap / Hip-Hop
It’s a rework / cover of a parody of a Lil Wayne song. The original parody was done by Versal, Dubious, and Rhyme Flow back in 2013, and this version has Silver Note on vocals for the chorus (which IMO sounds better Lil Wayne’s original) and Buffy rapping his own custom 2nd verse. However, this goes in a very different direction to the 2013 version and focuses on the aftermath of Lightning Dust’s demise in Wonderbolt Academy, and completely changes the tone of the refrain.
GhostXb – Gallant Girls | Orchestral
I gotta love it when GhostXb brings all the Soundtrack vibes, and even though this new track focusing on the girls from the 4th EQG movie and their costumes isn’t an actual OST track featured in a game or show, it sure feels like one, and it feels amazing. The heroic feel, the feminine side, the epic progression, it all so perfectly reflects the events of the movie. Also, the utterly amazing vocals accompanying the winds in the last part make it quite emotional.
A Symphony Of Two – La Valse Du Vent | Orchestral
With such a profound and emotional track, you want to find some meaning or story to it, like for example the track being part of an OST, playing in a game during a cutscene as some tribe performs an important traditional dance along this waltz, in order to fuel magic into a crystal and safeguard their species. Will it work as expected?
