Continuing their releases from the stellar Homeward album This track opens with a tense, icy arpeggio and orchestrated leitmotif. Before transitioning into a much grittier and intense rush of energy and intricate bass and piercing leads to announce the attack of Spectre’s fleet. The breakdown is amazing as well with a chilling and heavy piano melody and a very dense and airy atmosphere that gives off a brave and hopeful mood and overall is a very stellar piece from the album and if you haven’t already, I highly recommend listening to the album in its entirety (the songs are designed to transition together seamlessly which is amazing) and to give the story a read while doing so as it really helps build the world each song is conveying.

MirroredReality – Magic of Kindness | Orchestral
It is always refreshing to see when art inspires art and MirroredReality uses that inspiration in such a gorgeous way! Magic of Kindness is a beautiful symphony of strings and lighter orchestral instruments like the flute. It was composed using the cover art picture as the concept for the track, which makes sense given the gentle and serene feel of the composition. The percussive gives a nice, fitting energy to the instrumental, managing to be thoroughly felt without being too loud.
Matías Peñaloza – The Place Where We Belong (Covering Daniel Ingram) | Piano
Anyone that hasn’t checked out Matías Peñaloza yet really should! Their piano videos are memorizing to watch and fun to hear in the most technical of composition forms. In addition to getting to see a very talented musician, the videos link to sheet music and MIDI for many of the show songs, for which I must give Matías credit for helping others to learn and produce their own versions of these songs!
MC-Arch & RoomVR – Our Love Will Save Us All (feat. Namii) | Hip-Hop
The latest release from our beloved rapper is another collab of many wonders, with RoomVR contributing with a very dreamy and emotional instrumental, Namii doing her best Fluttershy voice, and Arch carrying on all the powerful meanings intended in this track with his heartfelt rapping and thoughtful lyrics. Read what’s written in both the video and the description to get an idea of all that is to appreciate in this track!
Forest Rain – Brony Pride | Rock Ballad
Echoing the brony family feelings from the iconic Proud to be a Brony, Forest Rain had the most wonderful idea ever with this heart-warming song part of the Discovery album. Indeed, it calls to our feelings for both the ponies and the community, and makes us gather while listening to the gorgeous vocals and tender instrumentation, and lingering in shared love. Once again, let us say that we are proud to be bronies, and that this is not just a fandom, but a family!
Forest Rain – The Tempest | Rock Ballad
Forest Rain releases yet another track from their new album Discovery, and this one focuses on Tempest Shadow’s broken trust and anger she harboured leading up to the events of the MLP Movie. Powerful piano chords and instrumentation accompany an emotional story in this ballad and you can really tell Forest Rain put a lot of love and effort into it and I highly recommend listening to this and the rest of the album!
[P@D] Jyc Row & PegasYs – I’ll Fly High (feat. BlackGryph0n) | Epic Orchestral
Ponies at Dawn albums are home to some of the biggest collaborations around, that’s a well-known fact, and here we are able to witness Jyc’s endeavor with none other than the talented and bringer of brony family spirit BlackGryph0n, for top-notch vocals along an epic orchestral instrumental! And icing on the cake, the track also features PegasYs who is known for his lovely lyrics, among other things! An aerial piece that definitely belongs on Skyward!

BlueBrony‘s pony passion and imagination are always such a delight to witness in his pieces, and his contribution to Ponies at Dawn Skyward is quite the display of both story-telling and musical prowess! Along with much emotion from the rich composition, the unique vocals are gracing the album and telling BlueBrony’s tale of ponies building an airship, and it’s so very appreciated! We love you BlueBrony!

F 109 always brings something mysterious and cryptic to the table and this is no exception! From Ponies At Dawn’s recent album Skyward inspired a nostalgic nigtmare from many moons ago Stehekin opens up with a foreboding organic atmosphere laden with a very immersive soundstage and is heavy with an indigenous or ethnic vibe. Theres also a really nice shift of mood by the end where the electronic grit bubbles to the surface and really brings back the tense emotion felt throughout the piece. Awesome work as always F 109 and can’t wait to see whats next!

Mad choirs and organ are immersing us in a last boss battle in this new OST-inspired track by Chiptune Brony!
