Here’s another offering from the recent Equinity album! This grandiose orchestral piece from Skyshard wastes no time establishing a Celtic feel, which pairs very nicely with the background image. You’re transported (back) to this otherworldly garden in this sequel to one of their previous songs.
Orchestral
[Equinity] Yashn – Lost in the Everfree | Orchestral
Featured in Equinity 06, Yashn has constructed a wonderfully dark orchestration here. Opening on tense strings and an ominous whisper of textures this song is episodic in nature going from navigating the mysterious eerie lands to sudden full blown chase sequences with frantic movements and a wide array of instrumentation without being overcrowded! Don’t get lost after dark, and do not trust the shadows.
Nugget – Rizz | Orchestral / Trap
Today Nugget brings is something new and fresh, something I’ve never seen before! Combining the melodic sounds of orchestral with the hard hitting drums of trap he creates a new form of banger that works way better then it should! Definitely give this track a listen and enjoy this special sound!
Jyc Row – Goddess of Machines | Orchestral
Jyc Row has always been one of the household staples for epic orchestra with their impressive buildups and their choir vocalization, but this time they take it a step further with their track “Goddess of Machines.” While this song continues with said aspects of Jyc Row’s style of music, they added some industrial sounds to this track like synth bursts in lengths like a warning siren & a cyberpunk-style fade out, which perfectly emulates the feeling of a corrupted Sweetie Bot. I wish there was an actual movie trailer for this song as it feel like there is an actual Sweetie Bot movie coming to cinemas every time I listen to it.
Ethan Toavs – Making A Wish | Orchestral
It’s quite inspiring how Brony musicians continue to find new inspiration from MLP G4 more than 10 years after its initial release, however, Ethan Toavs takes it a step further, drawing inspiration from MLP G3, a full 20 years after its initial release! His latest track, “Make A Wish,” is based off themes presented in the original G3 soundtrack. Majestic choirs, bells, and other symphonic instruments create a beautifully magical atmosphere throughout the entirety of the piece. Sit back, relax, and let this gorgeous track take you on a journey through colorful landscapes beyond your imagination.
EveryDayDashie – A Summer in The Kirin Tales | Chinese Folk / Rock
EveryDayDashie is back again with another Eastern-inspired track, this time about the Kirin. Using the traditional instrumentation for the Chinese Folk genre, Dashie blends in some traditional rock aspects to add extra levels of spice and drive to what would be a serene piece. Midway through the piece, the genre does a 180, switching to rock-style guitar and inspirational licks from Chinese melodies. It can’t be said enough that Dashie is a master of blending cultures – and this track is no exception!
Nugget – Roses | Orchestral
Nugget has a wide range of musical abilities and this time ventures into the orchestral side of composing. “Roses” is the instrumental journey of Roseluck and her existential thoughts as she lies in the grass. The piece is simple and makes for easy listening, with string instruments and bells accentuating around a piano melody.
EveryDayDashie – Roadtrip to the Maretime Bay | Folk / Country
As a little entry to the month of May, EveryDayDashie has composed this lovely piece, bringing the calm and relaxing energy and lots of Violin power from Dashie himself! This track feels like a lovely breeze, running across your face. I definitely recommend having a good listen, especially while travelling through endless fields of green!
Koron Korak – Keys of the Past | Piano Orchestral
Today Koron Korak brings us this lovely yet somber piece, meant as a tribute and to show how much family and friends can help through sadness. This track shines with its mournful strings and deep piano melody, the whole thing bringing across this deep sadness. I definitely recommend listening to this but have some tissues on hand.
Jyc Row – Eternal Night’s Utopy | Orchestral
As part of his series of Trailer pieces, Jyc Row brings us this amazing orchestral piece focused around a movie with Nightmare Moon at its center! This track shines with its hard hitting combination of drums and a little bit of vocals, strings actually taking a back seat in a big portion of the track as other elements shine!
