Duo Cartoonist – Trust In Me | Orchestral

With something that sounds like its come straight out of a Disney movie, Duo Cartoonist, producers of the much celebrated Children of the Night, have released their first original piece of music, featuring the talents of a whole bunch of people who helped out to make it a reality. If Disney villain music is your kind of thing, you’ll probably love this.

Radiarc – I Know | Orchestral

Recently having been generally a proponent of some of the more dark and atmospheric orchestral releases in the fandom, here brings something a little different to that. Fitting beautifully to the chosen artwork is this calm, sombre piece that causes much contemplation.

GhostXb – From Shadows (Piano Theme for King Sombra) | Piano Sonata

Following on from previous works inspired by the same IDW comic story arc, and even keeping the live element of one of them, GhostXb has a new solo piano piece. I always enjoy seeing songs actually made, it does add a nice personal touch and you really appreciate the work that is put in a lot more. Anyway, go listen to this lovely composition from GhostXb, and if you want, download the EP with both piano solos on it!

Radiarc – The End | Dark Orchestral / Electronic

That’s okay man, it’s not like I wanted to sleep tonight anyway. I wouldn’t have thought of this necessarily as a remix, but still, it makes full use of the vocals from Smile Smile Smile, and then plenty of other Pinkie vocal samples. If you liked this, then be sure to check out Radi’s new album, Mistaken, containing 14 tracks like this, inspired by games such as Silent Hill and Dead Space.

Spiritually echoing OST tracks such as Dewdrops in the Morning Wind, this new release from Orchestral duo A Symphony Of Two brings all the beauty of Nature in the morning, as the piano melodies wake you with serenity and wonder, and the strings create wonderful emotion. Served with very fitting art from the amazing aJVL as accompaniment!

Vylet Pony – Super Pony World | Guest Album Review | Electronic

Better late than never, eh? NB: A small part of this review was also written by Spectra.

Hey kiddos, it’s Reverie, and while I’m busy being sad and hating myself that I haven’t been working on the Top Ten listings that much due to school and graduation and all that, I’ve written a comprehensive review, going track by track through ALL of the new Vylet release, entitled Super Pony World. Since we don’t want to exclude some of the deluxe version material, this is going to cover all of the base tracks plus a couple of the original pieces from the deluxe version. So, let’s hop right into it after the break!

Reverbrony – In the Presence of Kings | Orchestral

Something a little different than the usual stuff we get from Reverbrony, more orchestral with additional metal than metal with additional orchestral, but great nonetheless. I’m always amazed how he is able to consistently release new music every 2 weeks! If you want metal on a regular basis, then Reverbrony is definitely needed in your YouTube subscriptions.

Vylet Pony & Kyunn – Faraway Fidelity | Ambient / Orchestral

A cinematic piece that blends subtle electronic sounds and strong orchestral drums and vibrant woodwind and string instruments. Vylet’s electronic compositions are always a pleasure to listen to, but this orchestral piece is a whole new way to experience his music. Props to Kyunn too for making so many awesome collabs with Vy!
