What a trio of musicians to tell the story of the day that Pinkie Pie gave into her insanity, Nightmare Night came with a blood red moon, and a curse fell over the ponies of Ponyville. Pinkie’s deep insanity is really brought out by the flow of this track. The dark sweetness of the start paints the picture of Pinkie in her home mentally breaking down until she slowly dives into the dark parts of her mind. After the first drop the horror begins as Pinkie reaches for her bloody toys and goes to see if the citizens of ponyville want to play twisted party games with her chainsaw or a game of pony roulette with her shotgun! This song just fits into the dark headcanon that deep inside Pinke is a twisted psycho. The back and forth of this track really fits into the theme of horror for ETC: Luna’s Nightmare Society! As always this Qilin asks you to judge for yourself.

Ponytronic – Hallow’s Nightmare Night | Electro
Today we’ve got some spooky nightmare night Electro from the amazing Ponytronic. The track starts out with a dark and spooky beat making it clear from the beginning that this is a Nightmare Night song. After that another spooky synth joins in pushing the whole spooky vibe up a few notches. After a while the beat changes slightly making the whole track livelier. Later a drum loop gets added that ratchets up the song’s intensity. Near the end the drum loop drops out and is replaced by an entirely new beat, giving this song a lovely progression which continues as the second beat falls away again and in the end leaves only the main beat and a little surprise…

[P@D] Faulty – Immortal No More (feat. 4EverfreeBrony) | Progressive House
So everypony today we’re back with Faulty and 4EverfreeBrony and another amazing track from “Eclipse“. This one is all about Twilight and the life that has been taken from her as she became an immortal alicorn. The track starts out with a progressive House beat by Faulty giving it a nice intro instead of immediately throwing lyrics at us. But when 4EB’s amazing voice joins in, you’re immediately grasped by the lyrics, which talk all about Twilight wanting to be part of mainstream life again and not just sitting on a throne in Canterlot trying to be as good a leader as she can. For the end we again get to hear only the beat.

StealingShad3z – Cross State Letters | Acoustic Pop
So everypony today we’ve got a song that had me honestly up for days trying to think of a way to write about it. In conclusion: I can’t really do this song justice, so you should definitely listen to it yourself. The song is a love letter to Shad3z’ girlfriend, and the combination of acoustic pop and the sweet and lovely lyrics make for a romantic combination that has yet to be topped. Shad3z acknowledges how difficult life can be when it seems like the world is burning and society is collapsing, but having a special somepony can help you keep perspective and realize that it is all temporary. Over all those clouds is a rainbow, and together you’ll make it through.

CAPT started a new series going in the direction of spontaneous tributes to specific things from episodes and experimenting musically too! This first track about the very appreciated return of Detective Rarity in that one Pony Life episode is certainly having the series off to a great start, with Rarity’s antics accompanied by some tasty sounds and Electronic experimentation!
Sound Bandit & Friends (My Band) – The Song | Indie Pop / Alternate Electronic
A collab of no less than 34 musicians, this band’s new song was organized by Sound Bandit for the latest DustCar race calling for collabs, and boy did it deliver! The emotional vibes from both the instrumental and the vocals are palpable, and everypony felt that during the stream party of the race. RedSpark – Legacy | Orchestral
Spontaneous fan works about specific characters or themes from the show are so awesome!! RedSpark wins our hearts once again with a composition dedicated to the passing of power from Celestia to Twilight, and for a track made in such a short amount of time it sure it sounding amazing!!
Koron Korak – A Light Among Despair | Orchestral
Finding the light back at the end of the tunnel can be tough and can take a lot of time, but Koron seems to be off to a great new start after that difficult experience! Vent art is definitely good to help you cope with it too, and if it can be of any indication, the sheer magnificence of this track using violin and choirs is showing the might of creativity under such circumstances.

Simple yet effective, this laid-back Fluttercomposition is making use of vocal samples of the not-so-shy-anymore pegasus over some Reggae vibes, and the melodies are quite lovely too!
