Nexgen’s latest release tells us about the story of a pony deciding to protect a mare running from danger. Harmony Bop brings us the latest addition to his series of songs focused on the princesses, this one about Twilight Sparkle. Combining deep guttural vocals and beautiful harmonies (of course) with the same fantastic vocal style you hear in his other works as well as visuals that guide the listener through this musical story, “THE FIRE OF FRIENDSHIP” could almost be compared to a symphonic metal orchestra, complete with seven unique sections perfectly blended to create an epic masterpiece chronicling best Book Horse’s journey and struggles through the series. Keep an ear out for the perfectly-blended MLP:FiM theme song, as well as verses dedicated to every villain Twilight and her friends have encountered.

Blurain decided to bring the bass guitar for this one, and it was definitely justified with this awesome tune! “Shadow on the Moon” presents Celestia’s point of view after banishing Luna to the moon. The strength put into the vocals definitely shows the pain and regret the princess felt afterwards. Enjoy this song as it describes the hidden agony of being separated from your sister for a thousand years!
