PSFMer has, once again, explored a more niche electronic subgenre; this time he for us some drumfunk, a type of drum & bass music that tends to highlight the complexity and nuance of sampled classic funk drum grooves. This beat only needs a relatively sparse arrangement on top of it to sound complete, and when paired with solemn spoken word from Twilight creates a wonderfully atmospheric vibe!

Cyril the Wolf decided to make an updated version of what I believe is his first pony song ever, Millennium Alone, original made in 2011. The track begins with the beautiful playing of acoustic guitar, with the strings melting in, continuing to build with the addition of electric guitars before bursting into a full rock arrangement! The lyrics are Luna-centric with beautiful turns of phrase like “moving tides as she wept”, and Cyril’s vocal performance is phenomenal, flowing smoothly in and out of falsetto, showing off an incredible range. Absolutely splendid!

You ever just need a 4-chord banger in drop C# tuning? Blu’s got you covered! He’s been pumping out song after song lately and this one takes a turn towards the heavier side with the occasional djenty bit and harsh vocals.
