Ertrii’s back again with a wonderful release, and this one features classic Winter Wrap Up Applejack vocals, chopped in an unique way! The track also presents heavier Dubstep-y parts, and they make for an amazing exploration into new depths. Overall the song still remains a very soothing and emotional experience, Ertrii’s signature.
Original
Ataraxia – Wind and Ice | Piano Solo
From the Eternal Perfect Motion album, Wind and Ice lives up to its poetic title with a delightful Piano Solo that progresses with much emotion and sensitivity. And the presence of Snowdrop on the cover art can certainly add even more power!
AndNoOneDriving – Soothless Neighsayer | Acoustic
Another recent release from AndNoOneDriving, this delightful Acoustic song will give Grantchester Meadows vibes to Pink Floyd fans, with its genuine guitar play, soft vocals, and theme of Equestria’s lush and beautiful Nature. A true wonder!
Mane In Green – Eat Your Soup | Orchestral
An interlude in the story of Mane In Green’s series “The Quest of the Lost Sapphire” (latest episode here), this orchestration of the second movement of Beethoven’s Pathétique Sonata brings the perfect regal and tender atmosphere to depict this side part of the story happening to the backup party members (or eidolons, depending on the headcanon) in Canterlot while the main party is traveling to Saddle Arabia (and experiencing an unfortunate shipwreck). Isn’t Luna just the sweetest? Also, this orchestration was led on piano by our beloved Octavia with an additional performance by the Royal Canterlot Philharmonic Orchestra. Yes, you can always count on Mane In Green for extra immersion and pony spirit!
AndNoOneDriving – Fashion Horse Interlude | Piano Solo
A musical interlude as beautiful as northern lights, this short track from AndNoOneDriving is soothing as can be. It is also fitting for Rarity with that gorgeous and elegant piano, and we can only imagine how watching northern lights could spark some new inspiration into the fashion pony.
Horse Music Hotspot – May 2017

Just a soft release this month, while we sort out some complications regarding the PVFM broadcast – we aim to have this up and running again by next month’s show!
Also, for those who were using it, our RSS feed seems to be working again! How come? Who knows!
[NB: Our April episode was also released recently, after unavoidable delays, it’s on the same YouTube and SoundCloud pages as this episode]
Tracklist and embeds available after the break
Vivix – Change | Alternative Rock
It’s always so good to get some honest and gritty Alt/Indie rock, you get to see the core of rock spirit more closely, and Vivix certainly delights with this Starlight-themed track. With the perfect indie rock sound, it lets the guitar riffs talk, and brings genuine vocals that are just as enjoyable. Let’s show our support and rock the garage rehearsal room!
Ice Gaze & Lucas King – Forgotten in the Past | Piano
Even if you can’t play an instrument, it doesn’t mean that you can’t pay tribute to MLP with your singing skills! Using an instrumental from Lucas King, the lovely singer and voice actress Ice Gaze delivers a moving tribute to Moondancer’s character depth and how she felt when Twilight didn’t come at her birthday party. Get ready for gorgeous vocals and pony feelings!
Alexey Kotlyar – The Last Sunset (A New Beginning) | Epic Orchestral
A definitely very promising Orchestral pony musician, Alexey Kotlyar delights us with a 7-minutes progressive piece retelling in epic musical ways the action of a battlefield. Portraying a Changeling invasion, it ends with gorgeous choruses announcing a new Dawn, and A New Beginning. Also check out the very OST-like A Stroll in the Woods from the same musician!
BlueBrony – Roomies | Electro Swing
We don’t often get Electro Swing in the community, and it’s such a shame considering the bliss of the genre! BlueBrony got us covered though, and here’s one elegant and cool piece delivering the musician’s take on the genre with all the jazzy instruments and melodies! Imagining that this could be the result of Vinyl and Octavia’s combined efforts and passion, feels awesome too!
