Direct Current’s music gets all of my yes. They’re making a great name for themself in the ambient and chillout scene of the wide spectrum of brony music, and I look forward to the release of this EP that’s being teased song by song!

Synthis – Hold Me Close | Melodic Drum & Bass
Here’s a super catchy vocal tune coming in from Sam Synthis! In addition to the beautiful vocal delivery, Synthis does a great job laying a solid, multi-layered foundation of melody.
Crystal Slave – Fly With Me VIP | House

Got an upbeat VIP here from Crystal Slave featuring both some slick vocal chops as well as some original vocals. Solid house beat and uplifting chords provide the basis of the track which is nicely decorated with the vocal work and a couple different leads.
Nicolas Dominique – Midnight Train | Chillout
Here’s a easy-going electronic piece from Nicolas Dominique. It’s a pretty straightforward track with ambient pads over a steady beat. While the ambiance is nice, I think it could benefit from gradually employing a more progressive evolution of the sound design over the course of the track.
Injustrial – Dream A Broken Mind | Industrial
We don’t often get Industrial music around here, nice to have some more unusual styles of music. Have a dark song about nightmare ponies if you’re into that sort of thing!
Dipi11 – Quiet Now | House
Essentially a remix of Hush Now Quiet Now, Dipi give us a nice little trancey house tune. Simple sounds with good mixing go a long way in my books, and this is a great example of that!
Vylet Pony – Nothing Personal | Glitch Hop
Got another track released from Vylet that’s not making the cut for his forthcoming Super Pony World album. As with the other scrapped tracks, this midtempo tune has got some cool ideas in it, among some more common ones, and with some of the technical aspects admittedly being a little rougher around the edges in respect to EQ and atmospheric elements and the like. However, I think the important point is that it’s promising SPW to be a very high profile release which is a lot to look forward to!
Little Jester – Pinkie’s World | Video Game
An upbeat track from Little Jester, seemingly with influence from a certain classic series of Nintendo games. Take a listen, it’s a cute little song!
Vylet Pony – Mission! | Hard Dance
A little bonus track of sorts from Vylet today, this was a scrapped song from his upcoming album, Super Pony World. Combining dark synthpop, light piano, and fast paced beats, this is a little different from Vy’s usual style; I always like seeing musicians doing something a little bit different!
