Totalspark is back again with another chillout track to busy themselves between larger projects. Like many of their previous works, this tune is easy going featuring some ethereal pads, chiming bells, and gentle arpeggiating synths.
GROskAr – Dive | Dubstep
GROskAr takes a deep Dive into the genre of Dubstep and comes back with a track of much originality. The progression, the buildup of the second part, the reintroduction of moments of silence, all give this track a pretty distinctive feel. And to top it off, Rainbow Dash samples!
DJ RockinHoof – Dubstep Cheer | Dubstep
DJ RockinHoof brings us a track with an interesting concept here, that of teaching Fluttershy how to cheer… with wubs! One does not simply try to be a pony bass cannon… but thankfully Rainbow Dash is here to coach! The last part of the song especially makes for a great “concept track” moment, that is quite funny too!
Direct Current – New Beginnings | Chillout
From his upcoming Eccentric EP, Direct Current brings us a chilled out yet also somewhat epic track about Twilight. It starts out pretty laid back, but I love the way it builds up so nicely without really needing to go anywhere in particular beyond that. Definitely a nice tune.
Ponytronic – Endless Devotion | Electronic
Ponytronic is back with another tune to celebrate reaching 3000 subscribers. Got a lot of ideas going on in this tune from scaling melodies, wobble basses, syncopated drum rhythms… often all at the same time 🙂
Ponycide – Sunrise | Orchestral
Good morning! Looks like we’re starting off the day right with some top-shelf orchestral work from Ponycide. At the heart of the track is a surprisingly bold and dramatic rhythm that creates a very unique atmosphere when further accentuated by instrumentation that is… I’d go so far as to say aggressive in its delivery. The larger part of the composition is bright and uplifting, yet the sharpness of the drum hits and the punctuating stabs of flute invoke feelings of urgency- not just the grand display of power I typically hear- but perhaps the rising awareness of imminent conflict and the resulting anxiety crashing against the shores of a mind steeling itself in preparation to shoulder the challenges brought forth by a new day. Truly a lovely piece.

It’s always great to hear new moombah from the community and now aspiring bass producer Light Assassin is giving you the chance with this aggressive VIP. Check it out for that awesome latin shuffle mixed with some heavy bass growls.
fractilx – Wake The Dawn | Trance
In honor of BUCKcon and lovely Britannia featured in the cover art, Fractilx composed Wake The Dawn, a track as beautiful as its title. The introductory beats from the first part are soon giving way to a heavenly melodic and soothing part where the piano does wonders. Then expect some more uplifting mood along the progression, as if we could hear cheers of joy and excitement toward the convention!
ertrii – No Please | Downtempo
This is one of the more interesting tracks I’ve heard recently, from the juxtaposition of warm, melodic pads and distant dissonant wind whistles to the crazy intro: rest-of-song ratio. This is chill downtempo track with an air of mystery to it.
