Some years after the release of Budzy’s excellent and bouncy Marshmallow (the tune that made me personally take notice of Budzy’s talent), the great Silva Hound’s edit of it has been released! The original is enhanced by Silva’s signature style of various synth and key arrangements, with some extra flavor from Dress Horse’s signature song, Becoming Poplar, being added to the mix. This one is definitely a great DJ tool, as well as a solid edit!

Pretty incredible how great such a simple mashup can sound! Taking the instrumental from Pusha T’s The Games We Play off his stellar Daytona album and Wootmaster’s vocals from his Drake parody The Ride Ain’t Over, MCMIAG shows off how well Woot’s flow (and slightly comical lyrics) complements the grittiness of the original beat. As a sucker for mashup, MCMIAG has been pumping out some pretty great ones recently and this is just one of many!

StrachAttack continues his genius streak of flipping fandom classics, this time bootlegging JackleApp’s banger from the first Balloon Party showcase, 100% No Feeble Cheering. In this extremely high-energy bootleg, Strach’s improved sound design especially shines, as does his clever incorporation of other Balloon Party samples. A wild upgrade of a classic tune with a slight trap edge to it, this is a gem from the new year of pony tunes!
Eurobeat Brony – Luna (ROKII Remix) | Future
A true Classic being Remixed once again this time by ROKII! Eurobeat’s Luna has always been a favourite track to bump on the speakers. Witnessing it LIVE at HarmonyCon this year was most definitly a magnificent experience! ROKII re-evamping that Experience with this awesome remix is a great enjoyment! I really like every variant of how you can listen to this song, and I say with full pride that this one is no exception! The bass drops are marvelous, and the mixdown is great!

Eksoka is back with a new amazing creation and tribute! The ending credits song from the first EQG movie, A Friend for Life, gets a gorgeous new take with this Trance arrangement that sublimates the original vocals along more than 6 minutes of high-energy beats and a dreamy atmosphere that lifts you to a higher plane. That’s the power of music, and Eksoka is so good at it!

New EP from One Track Mind, and it’s packed with crazy amazing tunes! This one is a dark take on Love Is In Bloom with epic Synthwave vibes following up on the musician’s recent exploration of the genre! A new take on Suskii‘s changeling track from Never Say Neigh’s debut compilation album, this remix is extending the hard-hitting-ness of the original and taking it even further by adding that heavy sound from electric guitars! And always with Chrysalis samples to represent the spirit of the hive!
Daniel Ingram – Luna’s Future (MirroredReality Remix) | Drum & Bass / Acoustic
Luna’s Future is always a fun song to see remixed, and MirroredReality does something a little different here. Setting the scene of desolation with the wind blowing over silence, the song begins with some acoustic guitars playing a fun, yet ominous tune. However, things don’t take long to pick up as Aloma Steele’s signature vocals come in with a blast of energetic, yet not “in your face” percussion and melody, allowing you to focus more on the story and as it progressively builds and wanes, always keeping a nice balance of tension and flow. All in all, this is a nice refreshing take on one of my favourite songs in the series and I’m glad I had the chance to hear it!
