It’s been a long time coming, but Panic and mikuma have now released this awesome remix of The Spectacle that combines both of their styles in an interesting way. Smooth bass house vibes permeate through the first half of the track, with great use of the vocals, before the second half gets a bit bouncier.
I always love seeing remixes of this song to see what people do with it as there is just so much untapped potential to the song itself and Evgeniy has done a great job fleshing out the atmosphere and adding quite a lot to the tune itself, creating a dark yet soothing trance take with some notable nods to Tiesto’s style, it makes for quite a fun listen!

Single Purpose has been around a fair few months on Soundcloud, but they’ve only recently ported all their tunes over to YouTube, and in my opinion this remix is certainly the most impressive of them! A smooth drum & bass remix of iblank2apples’ Twilight tune, there’s fantastic use of vocal samples and groovy chords throughout the track with excellent drums as well.

I’ve really been loving loophoof’s music lately, and another show song remix from him is great to see! This time he tackles the old classic party song Love Is In Bloom, making excellent use of the vocals throughout. Some high energy supersaws combine with awesome vocal manipulation to create something pretty great!

She Only Comes Out At Night was a great tune from Zizkil, and VooDoo has totally turned it on its head in combination with Dihedral. The addition of some vocals adds some context and depth, whilst the drops build up well and hit hard. Definitely one of the more interesting and transformative remixes I’ve heard recently, so make sure to check it out!
Relatively new DJ Whirly Tail knows how to make an uplifting remix, and his take on Dreamer’s Adieu is exactly as advertised! The track is fun and upbeat, making great use of the bass to establish the quicker tempo. Whirly also added in his own chilled out section in the middle featuring a grand piano over the synth for a few bars to really change up the track while still keeping the uplifting tone. Dreamer’s original synth tracks were very well composed and Whirly Tail knew a fun song when he saw it, making some great edits in order to play to those strengths!
Toby Macarony is great with a good mashup and this time he combines a couple of songs used as backing tracks in “Wonderbolts Academy” with some of his own flair to make a spectacular march. The first part of the song is immediately recognizable from the show when Rainbow Dash approaches the Academy. Toby adds a great drum intro with embellished low brass to really solidify the rhythm before tying the pieces together in a big hit with an awesome synth added in. Unique in composition and genius in composition, be sure to taste the sky when the Wonderbolts say Welcome to the Academy.
Tripon’s gone and taken one of Lectro Dub’s oldies from 2012 and turned it into a neat half-time Neuro thing! Okay, that’s not exactly a great description on my part, but it’s pretty unique and difficult to sum up in a short sentence, so go listen to it instead!
This is a nice blast from the past cast in a new light by Tripon! Its an interesting take on a song that completely flips the mood on end and makes excellent use of sound design and vocal manipulation and creates tension in all the right ways. This is the song that everypony should know!
The Japanese brony community always seems to largely go under my radar, then every once in a while I see something really sweet and unique like this. I can’t say that Yanamosuda’s re-imagining of Evil Enchantress resembles the original much at all – it’s a complete transformation done very creatively!
