Nothing like a bit of metal to start off your day, eh? Soul “Dream Explorer” Strings (because two names are better than one!) has a new instrumental metal track entitled Patchwork, so called because it consists of many parts. It’s a really interesting piece that keeps changing tempo, key and time signature!

Luna Jax – Maybe That’s Just What I Need | Soft Rock
Luna Jax’s voice is always a delight to my ears, and this song is no exception. Heartfelt lyrics that tell a story involving Dashie and Gilda, beautiful harmonies, and a great instrumental backing it up; and it was written for FAWM, so hopefully there’ll be a few more songs to come 😉
Throwback Thursday | Kreühn Pöny | Artist Spotlight
You may or may not have heard of this musician, they were one of the more, shall we say, elusive members of the fandom. Kreühn Pöny specialised in jazzy stuff; songs with odd time signatures and irregular beat patterns. You know, a similar feel that of SoGreatandPowerful’s music (which is a completely different kettle of fish that we’ll revisit another time!). So without further ado, let’s get to his small yet brilliant discography! Catch it all after the break…
Dragonal – I Stand Alone (Remaster) | Metal
Dragonal is a somewhat new Australian metal musician, whose style reminds me more than a little bit of Prince Whateverer’s early forays in the fandom. Needless to say, this remaster of one of his first brony tunes is well worth a listen, and Dragonal is definitely one to watch out for.

Aviato- no wait, Sights Unseen is back with a cover of Avia- no, Sigh- no, Aviators and Bronyfied’s song Heroes. This is part of an EP that Sights has just released covering and remixing a bunch of Aviators’ songs as a tribute to him…to Aviators, that is. I swear Sights is deliberately trying to confuse me here…
WoodLore – Timberline Akimbo | Country
WoodLore is one of my favourite singers in the fandom, and probably my favourite in the genres of music he generally creates. This time is no different, with a raw, memorable country tune about Trouble Shoes.
Redd Pony & Vaceslav – The Final Day | Hard Rock
Due to a variety of reasons, Redd has recently shifted his focus towards rock-oriented music instead of the EDM he used to create. With the help of Vaceslav (our own Francis Vace), he’s come up with a powerful rock track, losing none of the quality from his electronic works.
Ponysphere – Children Of The Hive | Metal
Ponysphere has whipped up a ponified cover of the classic Black Sabbath song for all the changeling fans out there. If you’re looking for pony metal, be sure to check it out.
