Burning Down Bridlewood, a band featuring the talent of rawrity, debuts with a banger, “LVNDBVCK”. The title is a play on “LAND BACK”, and the song’s edgy lyrics are about taking back land which was unfairly redistributed sometime between the G4 and G5 eras. The track buzzes with the pop punk energy of guitars, the crisp click of drumsticks, and the classic pony chops you’ve grown to love in rawrity’s songs. The vocals straddle near hyperpop territory, giving the song even more energy and creating a really cool texture. Nice work!

The track begins with contemplative and ominous guitars before the full band kicks in. The raw emotion in the screaming vocals tells the personal tale of Biscuit’s struggle with mental health. The lyrics are brave, with rhymes like “rose above” and “travel the world doing what I love.” Between the bouts of full metal, the song eases up, allowing Nugget’s orchestration to shine and giving the piece incredible dynamic contrast. And believe it or not, this metalcore track features some pretty fire hardstyle kicks! A combination that sounds absolutely random, but it works out perfectly! The kicks add a lovely bounce to what is already an amazing party track! Definitely give this one a listen yourself and enjoy!

Cyril the Wolf decided to make an updated version of what I believe is his first pony song ever, Millennium Alone, original made in 2011. The track begins with the beautiful playing of acoustic guitar, with the strings melting in, continuing to build with the addition of electric guitars before bursting into a full rock arrangement! The lyrics are Luna-centric with beautiful turns of phrase like “moving tides as she wept”, and Cyril’s vocal performance is phenomenal, flowing smoothly in and out of falsetto, showing off an incredible range. Absolutely splendid!
