It’s a very welcome return for Black Electric as they release their first song in months, and first pony song in over a year! This piece is about Violet Rose, an OC created by PhoenixSwift, and while I unfortunately know absolutely nothing about the character, the genre certainly seems fitting for an epic bat pony warrior. Great job and welcome back Black Electric!

Vivix – Trrrrixie! | Indie
While it could do with a little polishing up, this is a really neat little indie track from Vivix, bringing back a genre we don’t see very often round here! But anyway, music production is a craft that takes a while to master, and the focus here should instead be on Vivix’s great guitar playing and the lyrics about everyone’s favourite villain redeemed spellcaster.
[P@D] Spectra – Falter (covering Crystal Slave) | Soft Rock
Spectra is back and as good as ever with his beautifully touching contribution to the newest Ponies at Dawn compilation album, Rebirth. A pleasant, acoustic tone with a somber electric guitar lead set the emotion of Falter. Spectra’s singing compliments the song perfectly with passionate desperation, yearning not to be left alone. The reminiscence and emotion in his voice combined with the gorgeous acoustic elements mix intensely to create an incredible, solastalgic track – perfect for a rainy day!

This treasure of a track written for the new Ponies at Dawn album is a showcase of Crusader!’s talent and expertise in multiple styles of rock music. Perfectly capturing the theme of MLP, Home is Where Your Friends Are describes how those closest to us are what brings us out of our troubles and hard times. Starting out soft and only acoustic, the track builds through a synth-infused poppy bridge that leads into an uptempo, punky section interchanging seamlessly to convey the energy that our friends truly bring to us. Emotional, uplifting, and well-crafted, Crusader! offers a one-of-a-kind track that everyone can enjoy!

In a trifecta of talent, the royal metal-head Prince Whateverer once again teams up with Sable Symphony and this time with orchestral mastermind Frozen Night to bring us this heavy jam, featured on the new compilation album Ponies at Dawn – Rebirth. Describing the harsh contrast of his own perfect, fantasy world and his less-than-perfect reality, Whateverer provides his top-notch vocals and guitar licks accompanied by Sable Symphony’s always on-point harmonies. In a great surprise, Frozen Night features in this track with his symphonic elements adding an incredible and epic twist on PW’s signature metal style.

Fresh from the hit new compilation album from Ponies at Dawn, Flittzy brings us this great rock track inspired by the Fallout Equestria universe. The standard rock instruments are on point and further accentuated by great symphonic strings to bring up the energy and tension. With always great vocals from Flittzy expressing the lyrical themes of self-doubt and determination, you can really feel the adversity facing the protagonist for what is a can’t-miss song on a need-to-have album!
4everfreebrony – Celestia (Reptilia ponified) | Alt Rock
Ponified The Strokes? Ponified The Strokes! The thing that impresses me the most about this is how closely it resembles the original Reptilia. From the guitar tone to the vocal performance (and the touch of overdrive), it just FEELS like a Strokes song! And of course 4everfree’s talent for lyrics shines through in this song, and how he manages to bring the story behind to life in a new light.
[P@D] Replacer & P1K – Sky Blues | Blues Rock
Coming from the newest P@D album, Rebirth, here we have a 6-minute track featuring the amazing talents of Replacer and P1K. Both being old schoolers in the fandom music scene, both playing an amazing blues rock track, full of cool guitar riffs and amazing drumming work! P1K’s vocals are really on point and the sweet and almost robotic vocals of Replacer melted my heart like the amazing guitar riffs that are featured in here. An incredible track, incredible artists, an incredible album! I loved this track sooo much!

An amazing track, full of happiness and good feelings! BroniKoni releases their debut album Friendship Express and by celebrating that, they release the title track from it! The mix of instruments is amazing, the pianos, the guitars, the flutes, the vocals, the basses! Then that guitar solo melts my heart, and the chorus is really funny and cute! A mix of modern and retro, featured in the most recent Ponies at Dawn compilation, Rebirth. Thrasher makes a kinda cinematic/retro trance metal track with Metalcore and Industrial/Cyber Metal influences that promises to make you dance and headbang at the same time! A mix of aggressive with chill, Metal with Synthpop. A truly experimentatal world in there. Listen to it!
